This has been great for many years as our local favorite spot as we live near by.Leaving a review to let others know that they have changed the menu and the food is not the same. Order on 5/6/22 was great yen ching as it's been for years. Order on 5/21/22 something changed and was Unfortunately disappointed and surprised. Maybe just an off night?? But everything tasted different and breading was different the lo mien was super plain. After being my go to spot for more then 10 years I am not sure I will back. Not sure why they made changes to such great food.. have to find a new place and that is disappointing because I love supporting local places.
New Owners (late may-2022). Horrible!!! W/higher prices. They have NO idea how to cook, flavor or prep. Chinese food.Vegetables were all soft & mushy because they were so overcooked. Celery was cut randomly in three inch lengths. Broccoli was all trees it was so large.Shrimp Fried Rice had micro shrimp and bad oil for its only flavor.Steamed Broccoli was like baby food and fell off the fork it was so soft.Wrong batter used for Orange/General Tao’s Chicken and flavorless.Kung Pao Chicken didn’t include peanuts or brown sauce, instead they used chili oil and sugar as the only flavor w/mushrooms, mini corn, broccoli trees and long stocks of celery…. So nasty tasting we had to just toss it in the trash. In fact it all went in the trash because it wall all soooo bad.I’m angry that the past owners did this to their loyal customers. They sold the name, phone number and client list to the new owners.I truly feel my $65 was stolen from me by con men in an alley posing as cooks.
Great food at a fair price....this has become our favorite little Chinese restaurant after moving to the area
I usually don’t get take out but I ordered some for my family last week and everyone loved it. The young lady was very nice and helped me with my order by giving me really good suggestions. Would definitely come back again.
My new go to for Chinese takeout...stopped on my way home from work and the young lady at the counter was super friendly taking my order. Ordered combo fried rice, egg rolls, potstickers and Singapore noodles all of which was delicious...they may have the best egg rolls in Naperville. Can't wait to come back and try their Chow fun and Chicken Kow. Give them a try they won't disappoint.
The best Chinese I've had in this area. Szechuan chicken, lo mein and egg rolls are excellent. More flavor than most Chinese restaurants.
That her so nice here ?
We found a metal grill bristle in our food once and my parents will never go back. However, this is without a doubt my favorite restaurant. The food is just soooo good!
Great food everytime I order from this restaurant! The people that work here are super friendly and courteous....
Thank you Yen Ching for being a part of our local community!I am so grateful for this small family owned Chinese food establishment. They have saved me many times when I didn't have food on the table during busy days and nights. And through the pandemic they have become a regular staple. The many different dishes on the menu are delicious and consistent, and the portions are generous. It is so close to home yet the high quality, large portions, and fair prices rival many of the Chinese restaurants that are further away.My family's favorites are the Lo Mein, Sesame Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Egg Foo Young, and BBQ Pork Fried Rice. They always answer their phones and the food is promptly ready when it's promised. The lady in front is so sweet and patient even when she has multiple orders to manage at the same time. The owners early on had taken steps to ensure that their business is sanitized and they have installed plastic shield guards. If you are in the mood for some good wholesome Chinese food, why leave the neighborhood? Yen Ching delivers a quality meal that always hits the spot!
