Cute little nice place for coffee and sweet treats. But not a big fan of frosted icing I find it too sweet for my own liking. I prefer creams but that's my personal opinion. Cupcakes are ok as well as the pies but the magic bar is really good. I don't think I would go back for the cupcakes or pies but for magic bars sure! ( toasted coconut flakes, with caramel on top and some walnuts, chocolate chips in a butter crust) Price wise its bit expensive. As for the name area 51 you wont find any alien theme related inside so you know.
We ordered a two tier wedding cake and mini cupcakes for our wedding. Everything turned out great. Everyone raved about how delicious everything was! We were able to use all the flavors offered and that helped us offer a great variety. I would recommend anyone looking for a great assortment of wedding desserts reach out !
Tried a couple of cupcakes here and all but one didn't disappoint. The red velvet is perfect. The almond was also moist and tasty but I'm not a fan of plain cakes. The lemon berry mascapone was a hit. Only disappointing one was the carrot cake. It had that clove taste that I don't particularly care for.Nice and helpful staff. I'd go back.
Area51 cupcakes are so so good . There shakes are fantastic and service was very great. I ordered cake recently it is nice and The customization work for cake is beautiful.Best baker to goo..
They made our wedding cake for us and it was perfect! The cake came out exactly how i wanted but better! Would recommend for custom cakes or yummy cupcakes! We had red velvet and it was amazing!
We have gotten so many cakes from Smallcakes (now Area 51) and have been happy with our experience. The taste and the variety of flavors offered are wonderful.My last two experiences have been less than stellar. Last month in April I tried to order a cake for my husband's birthday and never received a response until the day of which was way too late. No big deal, I understand it happens.Fast forward to Mother's Day coming up I ordered a set of cupcakes a week ahead. My husband walked in to pick up the pre ordered cupcakes and what do you know they didn't have it. So frustrating!!! Although I had proof that I had spoken to someone and confirmed the day, time and location. So after screenshots they were able to 'get it' but my husband did end up having to wait 35 mins for it to be ready.If you need a cake I would not rely on their messaging system to order or you'll be without your cake that somehow wasn't written down anywhere.Time for us to find another option.
All I can say is delicious! They have so many different flavors, but the best part about this cupcakes is how soft it is.
By far the best bakery in town. We’ve used them for all our events for the past few years and they have been very accommodating and the cakes taste and look incredible every single time. Great people to work with.

Stopped here just because of the name. We were not disappointed. The selection of items available was something to behold! So many options it was hard to choose. The service was fantastic, so friendly and helpful. The key lime pie cupcake was THE BEST cupcake I've ever eaten. Great lime flavor, light, moist cake. Delicious!!. The brownies were dense, rich and perfect! You will be glad you stopped! very highly recommended!!!!
