Amazing place for Japanese food lovers. Huge place that can fit around 50 people at a time. Skilled chef, excellent staff, clean grill and great service makes dining experience great. Sharing tables with random people provides good opportunity to know different people. All the walls of restaurant has picture of thousands of happy customers, that speaks about longevity and hospitality of the place. They have separate chairs for toddlers.
Food really good and not bad prices i would recommend chicken teriyaki and fried rice, vegetables and noodles r included, they will comadate to u r allergies, like if u have shell fish allergies they will make sure u r safe
An unbelievably unorganized establishment with 0 regards for good customer service. Just stay home and eat cereal. Food is mid at best. You might as well not even have a reservation.
My favorite restaurant food is cooked so delicious and very entertaining to watch it be cooked. staff is super friendly. The yellow sauce they put on the lobster & shrimp my fav.. so good!!
This restaurant is one of my favorite places to eat. Andy, one of the chefs, always takes care of us and is a genuinely nice guy. Never had a bad experience. Would definitely recommend!
It was my Granddaughter birthday party, great place for a get together with friends and family. The food was great made to order. Andy is a great showman in preparation of the food, also takes request to prevent food allergies. ?
They are friendly and kind. I use to go there once a week so now it's like I miss my extended family not going as often
Hands down best hibachi place ever.I’ve tried so many in illinois and other states and shogun is the best.The sauces, food portions, chefs, host, traditional wall pictures, food flavors and quality is spot on.The only con is how popular and amazing it is the spot is a little small since it’s in a strip mall so it gets crowded quick but I would make reservations ahead of time if possible.

My family and I were the first customers in there today. I don't know why these people are leaving bad reviews (the multiple one star review from the same day) but they never stepped foot in this place while we were here. We frequent different hibachi restaurants and today had the best service and food. The team that was there today was working very hard and had great attitudes. Will definitely be back.
