I come here very often and always have had a great experience but last night I was very rudely denied entrance for having my prescription heart medication in my purse. The bouncer was so rude and told me that I shouldn’t be going out because I have a heart condition. The entire line left with us because that guy was so awful! Lots of better bars to go to in Naperville, will not be back here.
Nice place to hangout with friends, the patio is good but super crowded at times!! The drinks are amazing and cheap and music is great too!I dont like their food!! If u r up for grabbing a bite there r tons of other better options around!
Chips and salsa were good. Service was good. Pitcher's of Cadillac Margaritas had too much ice, too little tequila, a bit too sweet, and therefore not a great deal. Steak fajitas were so-so. I wasn't paying for this meal.
I'd give them 0 if allowed.....we just walked in for a drink and the bartender shut us off and said water only, you're drunk before even talking to us. Very disappointed as I was looking forward to visiting cuz last time in town, they were closed for covidEdited to add: I don't usually give bad reviews on here. That said, after the condescending reply from the owner, we weren't being loud and we weren't drunk. We took an uber downtown for a few evening drinks to start our visit in town. The bartender was rude and we only made it two steps in the door before he refused service without even saying hello to us. We found a couple other places in town that were happy to have us and made us feel very welcomed.
This place used to be cool 5 years ago. However, I went there a few nights ago and saw the security guard yelling at kids who seemed to do nothing. Also, the drinks seemed to be watered down. They take trash through the middle of the "lounge" which was disgusting. Too much grinding and weird makeouts for my liking. DONT GO HERE IF YOU ARE OVER 25.
The Two-Nine martini Lounge sucks. Mostly because the Security Guards believe that they have some crazy superior power. They pushed one of my friends a small female as they thought she had drank too much. She had not drank any alcohol at all throughout the night. I also don't understand why theres 0 fans and it is 100 degrees inside awful place.The owner also doesn't know how to capitalize correctly. And uses phrases that don't make sense grammar wise. I guess he also enjoys making fun of customers on google reviews in his free time. HUUUUUUGE RED FLAG. Guess I'll take my business to the 20 other bars in Naperville. Thank you.
We dined in but had a terrible experience. A group of people were literally having a college party at one of the tables and being so loud and obnoxious we couldn’t even hear each other speak. Then we found out it was the owner’s family and that was the reason they were allowed to disrupt everyone else’s dinner. **update** per response from restaurant that we should have alerted staff. That is how we became aware of the information. Perhaps management should have intervened?
Drinks seemed watered down, food was not authentic (seemed like the rice was Uncle Bens and beans were canned- just heated up), they played country and classic rock music. There was nothing Mexican about this place and very little people. We came here because Fat Rosie’s was PACKED and we couldn’t get in. This will be our last time at Potters.
This place went down. I came here a while ago and sat outside when a band was playing and it was such a great time. Food was good and all…but coming here recently it changed. It seemed as if a band was coming to set up then they decided to take it back down and leave. Maybe there wasn’t enough people there? The food was not good. The rice was not cooked and the waitress instead of making it right said that it’s fried rice. Was I at the wrong restaurant? It obviously wasn’t cooked all the way. She seemed like she didn’t care so I won’t be back.
The food tasted good and the margaritas were even better. However, the guacamole was cold and looked old though that could be because it was most likely refrigerated, but still tasted ok. The reason for less stars is my sister and I both got food poisoning since we both had the Chicken Enchiladas then both proceeded to spend the night in the bathroom. Our one friend and my fiance are tacos and we're both fine. The service was quick, which is usually good but in this case I think too quick.
