A sandwich is just a sandwich most of the time. Potbelly sandwiches on the other hand are something more.Much like other areas of my life, I usually have a Wreck with everything (no mayo) and a cookie or something sweet on the side. Today was no exception.Good, simple food. Reasonably priced. Never had a wrong order or complaint about service or cleanliness. Will be a regular here for a long time.
Rolando is singlehandedly the reason why I only go to this location. He knows my order when I come in and the staff is the definition of professional and friendly.
Efficient and well spaced. Their sandwiches are excellent.
I went inside this exact location a few days ago. I instantly felt unwelcome because I'm a black woman. The people who worked here except for the girl just stared at me like my business didn't matter. The guy didn't even ask me if I wanted any toppings like he was afraid of me. The moral of the story is that the world is still lacking for only seeing someone for color and not their character. I would never come back to this location unless things change.
I ordered a curbside order and no one ever came outside. We called the shop ten times and they never picked up. I never got my food or my refund. Horrible service.
Fine place and all but I had just ordered a "Wreck" sub: I know there's a labor shortage so maybe there's some new employees on the line but the sandwich isn't actually supposed to be a wreck. This sandwich looked like it was made by someone with sledgehammers for hands while also including ingredients I asked to not be on the sandwich. Fine food tho.
Their skinny turkey sandwich is my favorite of all the sub places.
Always a favorite. A wreck with the cookies and cream shake! Delicious!
Service is great and managers are friendly; takeout order was missing a sandwich and manager was very apologetic and had the sandwich delivered so we wouldn’t have to go back.
I lived across from the Original Potbelly on Lincoln ave. (2260 block) In Chicago in 1989-91. Peter was the owner and often made my beef sandwich, toasted with peppers italian spices and oil. To this day, no matter wich locatoon i drop in, they all taste just as good and identical as they did in '90. By far the best sandwich shop in existence. Try that Jimmy J.!
