I was attending a funeral and had food catered to the luncheon afterward.The restaurant we ordered from dropped the ball and only delivered 1/2 of the food ordered and forgot all serving utensils. We called the restaurant we ordered from and no one would answer the phone. We had to think fast to provide lunch for 50 people and called On the Border in Naperville and we needed to pick it up fast. Tammy and Jose saved the luncheon!!!! They had the food ready very fast and provided us with extra serving utensils. We made it back just as the funeral guests were walking in for the luncheon. The guests loved the fajitas and was quite impressed we were able to get it so fast. THANKS!!! Tammy and Jose
Both times I've visited this location, the wait time for food was long because they were short staffed and a few hours after my meal, I vomited and, well, the point is that it wasn't pretty. I'm not sure whether it's related or where the problem would lie but certainly if management doesn't want a long wait and overbooks servers and rushes the cooking and cleaning, further making employees not want to come in, that would make sense. I hope the experience is better for others in the future, but I won't be returning to find out.

When I was a young man living in another state... I knew nothing about Cinco De Mayo... Oh sure someone may have mentioned it on May 5th back in those days... but I really knew nothing... ABOUT THE FOOD... AND THE DRINKS... And when I moved to this area of the World... I made a friend who told me about the Celebration... and we went out to eat... It was a Meal I will never forget... Today is Cinco De Mayo 2022... Saturday will be Kentucky Derby Day and Sunday will be Mother's Day... If you missed the Celebration today... Start a Long Holiday Weekend on Friday... right after work... And you too... will have a Holiday Weekend... you will never forget...
Took my wife here for dinner. Excellent fish tacos. My wife ordered tacos and burritos.the place was busy but the staff was great. I recommend anybody in the Naperville or the Aurora, IL area to come here. You won't be disappointed.
My wife and I just had lunch at On The Border in Naperville. We have never frequented this restaurant and we were looking for some place new to experience. In this new age of lying and making excuses for the degradation of service and quality, it was mightily refreshing to walk into an establishment and be greeted by the phrase……Please accept our apologies, the wait may be longer than normal because we are short staffed…… After a declaration like that, all things are possible. I don’t know what their “normal” service would have been but we got an incredible Margarita, 2 delicious entrees and the obligatory bowl of chips and salsa, post haste. The place was spotless and actually hinted of cleaning solutions and the wait staff (Marco) was top notch. Hang in there people, there may be light at the end of the tunnel.

Haven't been able to get over to this side of town for a while, have to tell you I was a little more than disappointed with the food, it wasn't cold but definitely wasn't hot. The portions of shrimp for $12.00 I only got 2 shrimp per taco. My wife's cheese enchilada had very little cheese in it and her chicken taquito had chicken in two bites. The rest was fried shell. Sorry for the rant, but I remember this place being a lot better. The restaurant could have been cleaner.
I love On the Border,but this specific location is really BAD.I don't recommend at all especially if you love On the Border menu like me.chips were not fresh,onion in guacamalo was giant,main food was also bad?.
Great drinks, and food. Don't expect this to be fast food, quality takes time. Friendly staff, clean restaurant and easy parking.
