Enjoyed the food alot . It’s our favorite place to have dinner
I used to like olive garden a lot, but I think service has declined quite a bit after the pandemic. There are less options, and it seems there are no specials any more; the soups are brought with the food instead of before, and the bread sticks that I used to like so much are not offered as often, I ate one basket with my family with our meals, and when I asked for another one, I was told I would have to wait until they were done. Only problem is by the time they were done, I was done with my meal, and with the restaurant.
Being the first time in a long that 4 female bartenders from twin peaks in warrenville haven’t had a day off together since god knows when, we stopped into Olive Garden. Our server Phoenix probably hates us but we LOVED him! He was super attentive and awesome with our high demands. He had an amazing personality! He left us the cheese machine because we needed it! All in all, this man deserves a raise! You go Phoenix (material girl)
Overall the food was not bad. The experience itself was quite an issue however. For starters, likely due to our ethnicity, we were seated in the back of the restaurant with the only other minority group in the restaurant. The second issue is that we were allegedly brought napkins, when in reality it turned out we were given paper towels from the rest rooms. This really was heartbreaking as we decided to go there to celebrate my son's birthday.
It was a nice ending or with friends. Or server was friendly and didn't seem bothered that we stayed and chatted for a while before and after our meal sharing a bottle of wine. The food was hot and delicious as usual.
Great food and drinks. Our waiter Stephen was fantastic.
They had limited servers so had to wait long time to be served. Finally we were served bread which we ate for first 15 plus or more. After that our salad n soup was served. By the time we finished, we were too full to eat our main course. We packed and brought back food. We had no complaints with the food but the service was v slow which is why I gave 3 stars. We understand it was due to shortage of people. Hope they get people to help out.
Alfredo sauce had way too much garlic powder ?. Portions seem to be getting smaller..The wait was absolutely long..over 45 minutes...and I am an optimistic person. I will not be dining at olive garden a few times a month like previously...perhaps a few times a year...or maybe make my own recipes from watching you tube ? is not worth it anymore..thank-you
I haven't had Olive Garden for more than 7 years and finally decided to try it again. I'm disappointed and feel bad to write a bad review of the food and utensils provided. The server is fantastic and tried her best to provide a fast service with staff being short. For the appetizer: calamari seems to be reheated and not freshly cooked/ made. The steak was too salty and overcooked to be a medium and then the knife provided for the steak was chipped and has a paper tape on the handle. I wanted to complain but I decided not to, I'm not n the mood for it and just ate what I was served. The server was already too busy yet courteous. Make it short, I guess I won't have Olive Garden again for the next 7 years.
Excellent service from our waiter Sam! Very friendly and personable! The Culinary Manager, Angela, was absolutely outstanding!! She came out of the kitchen during dinner to touch base with every single table. Outstanding service from top to bottom!!! Thank you!
