Drove by this place and decided to grab a pizza from here for family dinner Friday. So glad I did! The thin crust veggie was amazing. Perfect balance of cheese to sauce ratio. Would totally go back!!
I didn't like their Sicilian pizza... got pepperoni couldn't taste it through the rest of it. There wasn't a balance between toppings and cheese. Maybe we could of added more toppings but we have done this before and never has been an issue. I also had the beer nuggets (didn't taste like anything) the outside of them were nice and toasty, but the sauce taste like water and not thick enough to dip the nuggets in.I'm a fattie, can't remember when was the last time I was disappointed about pizza. ?
great pizza! my go to when I have a craving
Meh. Our kids loved their heart-shaped personal pizzas. My wife and I were disappointed in our thin crust sausage. Very light on the sausage and VERY salty. Maybe there are supply chain issues with sausage now too (but apparently not salt)? Lots of other positive reviews, so maybe an off night for them, but for our money, there are better spots elsewhere in town.
Now the food itself is good, but we ordered one gluten free pizza and 1 regular and they were both regular, but one was labeled as gluten free when it wasn’t. My sister ate the pizza thinking that it was gluten free because it was labeled as such, but it was not and she got very sick from it. It’s important to follow through with labeling- especially when people have allergies like Celiac!! :(UPDATE: they reached out and handled the situation very responsibly. We were refunded the order and they made everything right! Thank you for helping us and sorting out the situation! Updated and added 2 more stars bc of their response. :)
I tried their pizza first a few weeks ago. It was ok. Wouldn't eat it again. I thought I'd try their pasta to see if maybe that would be better. It is the worst Alfredo I have ever had. They used pene pasta, which eh, ok, but it was so soggy! Way over cooked. The Alfredo was like they took a can of condensed cream of chicken and poured it over the pasta. I literally made a dinner of the little loaf of bread because the Alfredo is sickening. Complete waste of money. They don't even make their own Italian dressing. If you are used to decent Italian food, don't eat here. It's not even in the same category.
The food was quite good. I had the panzerotti. Not as good as Grotto's in Waukesha but still good. The pizza was good. I love places that have hot giardiniera as a topping. Prices are comparable to others. All the pizza on the menu looks good, so I may have to try a Chicago style or double dough pizza soon.
Joe and his team provided six large pizzas for our business. The team loved them and he delivered a great hot fresh product. Thanks Joe & Old Town team !
Strips of breaded chicken breast, hot buffalo sauce, cheddar cheese, lettuce, and tomato. Served with blue cheese dressing on the side. You might as well remove the blue cheese dressing on the side statement from the description above from the buffalo chicken wrap, since the last 7 times we ordered it there has been no blue cheese dressing included. Delivery supposed to be 45 minutes, took an hour fifteen. However, the food is awesome! Keep it up Old Town!
What a find! Had driven past, had seen its ads, but never tried it. My wife was looking through a flier, saw a picture of one of their pies, and said, "That looks good. Let's try it." We did.Every part of the experience was 5 Stars! The person who took the phone call was calm and pleasant, not the typical, rushed, difficult to understand experience of other places. (I'm looking at you, Giordano's, Malnati's, and Nancy's.)We ordered an extra large, three topping, stuffed pizza. It was to be ready in 35-40 minutes. I showed up in that time span, and it was hot and ready.I lifted it and was surprised: it was, by far, the heaviest pizza I have ever carried. And no more expensive than the other places. On a $ per pound basis, it was a bargain. But the thing that matters most is: is the pizza good?It was FANTASTIC, from the taste, to the quantity and quality of ingredients, to the texture of the crust!Tons of cheese accounted for the weight. One of the toppings was spinach. We were all impressed by its freshness. And the icing on the cake: it keeps well. The extra large proved to be way too much for us. Pulled the last piece (bagged in a plastic, freezer bag) from the fridge four days later, heated it up, and it was as good as the first day. This place is twice as far from us as Giordano's, Malnati's, and Nancy's, but it is our new, go-to place.UPDATE: Liked it so much the first time, we went back the next week. Tried the Deep Dish pizza, plus a sausage and Italian beef combo, and chicken pesto pasta. The pizza was delicious. My wife preferred it to the stuffed, which we both LOVED, but I preferred the stuffed. The combo: Unlike Portillo's, where the flavor is cooked out of the beef, the sausages are usually overcooked, and the flavor comes mostly from the juice on the bun, each element of this one was very flavorful, and the combination of flavors was DELICIOUS. The pasta was the first disappointment. Not bad, but dry. We're used to pasty dishes being wet. But we've never had pesto pasta not home cooked. Maybe it's supposed to be dry.
