Wow. I really did not know that there is such a wonderful Chinese restaurant in Naperville. I passed by the toad sign so many times but have never thought of visiting there before my Chinese friend recommended the place. He said “Mapo might be the best and most authentic Chinese restaurant in west suburbs “.I can say it is absolutely true. The foods were amazing so I ate almost 3 people portions at last dinner.Staffs were so kind and the restaurant was so clean.I want to strongly recommend the owner to replace the sign. If they have a good sign matching with the foods and services that the restaurant is providing, the restaurant will become #1 Chinese restaurant in IL near soon.

The staff at Mapo is always kind, pleasant,, and helpful. The food is always exceptional, and the restaurant is always very clean and quiet. Stand out dishes: Dan Dan; Sichuan Chicken; no shell salt & pepper shrimp.
Consistently serve authentic Sze Chuan dishes. Mapo Tofu is a must. Very friendly service.

OMG. The food was amazing... so flavorful!The portion sizes were excellent. Cannot wait to go back. BTW we loved the garlic chicken and fried rice. Also an excellent place for vegans.
