Great place to watch a game and have a few. I'll have to try and eat something next time. Good service, very busy last visit.

I have lived in the Naperville area since 2011. I've been to Lantern a handful of times and have noticed a recurring theme every visit.For one, the majority of rap/hip hop and Latin songs get skipped by the bartenders over rock and country songs on paid requests made over the TouchTunes app.Service is pretty slow if you are not a regular and last call is never announced and is subjective to certain individuals..Also, keep track of your tab, because you will not be given an itemized bill. I wanted to see what I was paying for after this specific visit because I waited longer than normal for a drink while seated at the bar and was still given the wrong drink order a couple of times. After asking for the itemized bill, I was given a sarcastic response from an older bartender and given a handwritten bill with no drink names or prices.There are many local bars in surrounding area with more professional and consistent service than Lantern.
This is a great place. It's a laid back bar with good food, free popcorn, and nice atmosphere at extremely reasonable prices.
didn’t accept women’s ID that was over 21 and the husband came with her passport and he still declined her. Don’t go if that bouncer is there from the tiktok if you saw it
How is this place only getting 3.5 star Reviews? I love it here! Waitstaff has always been friendly, and burgers are delicious and always cooked fresh to order. Free popcorn while you wait.
Worst bar I’ve been to in awhile. Even worse than some places I’ve gone to while in the service. Bouncer was also a jerk for no apparent reason. Bartenders were great but that’s all the positives I got.
Great dive bar right in the middle of downtown naperville. I have been coming here since I was a kid(30+ years) with my dad and grandfather and it is exactly the same.......literally nothing has changed....at all. A naperville classic.
Love this place! Best dive bar in Naperville, best staff and best burgers! A legendary staple of downtown Naperville, thank God this place survived the pandemi!!
