My first time here. Cashier was very friendly and helpful. made some great recommendations and I went with the most popular items she suggested. Chicago style hot dog everything, delicious. My favorite fries! The gyro was big portions and amazing. Also tried the Italian ice. Loved everything. Everything including a drink for less than $20. Great value. Excellent food! 5 stars.
Very good food and great service. Plenty of room to sit down and eat. The portion sizes are really big also (which I like).

The food was good so after a bad experience with the customer service I came back to give it anther try. Once again good food but bad customer service. The girl handed me my food and told me we close at 9. I can only assume she didn't want to me to eat inside as she handed me my bag. So I decided to sit and eat as I planned to do.
After Easter dinner shopping at Caputo's, Johnny's was the perfect lunch for Michigan travelers. The hot dogs were perfect with steamed poppy seed buns and perfect proportions of condiments. The crinkle fries were crispy and generous. We tried an order of Greek fries were amazing. The staff was welcoming. The restaurant was very clean. We can't wait to return for more deliciousness.

Excellent hot dogs, among the best Chicago dogs anywhere. The best fries, and a LOT of them. Fast, friendly service. Drive past Portillos and go to Johnny's, you won't regret it.
Very generous on the fries! Offers traditional Chicago food in a clean environment with friendly staff. Good menu options. Excellent gyro and Vienna hot dogs. Not my typical everyday food, but when I crave a gyro, this location comes to mind.
Don’t waste your time at Portillos! Their Italian beef is amazing, their burger is juicy and fresh and the service is awesome! Super friendly people, always welcoming with a smile on their faces! I highly recommend Johnny’s!
