Clean and airy. Our waitress was very kind.\\n*Cubed beef rice was very tasty 滷汁? ordered two extra to go ?\\n*Shredded potato needs a bit of vinegar\\n*The spicy noodle soup is numbing but the spice blend was average. The two large beef chunks were tender and well seasoned\\n*The cucumbers ? salad not smashed\\n* Plum juice a bit medicinal\\n* Chinese burgers aiiii…? the bun 夾馍was off but the beef was tasty.

This place is a gem in Naperville, have had numerous noodle dishes and appetizers and they're excellent.

Not sure how we missed this place for last 6 months. Fantastic place.. food is awesome, especially their lamp soup. Lamp soup was hearty with good chunks of meat, no msg, with the chili oil ..yummmm.. got the lunch set, it came with appetizer, entree and a drink.. looks pricey but the quantity was lot and quality is good.. worth the price.. peach cheezo was delicious.. owner J was friendly and made sure we had everything.. went home with happy smile and happy tummy.. will definitely come again for lamb soup and try the other items in the menu.

We've been there about 15-20 times since we just discovered it about 5 months ago so we obviously love this place. The owner ("J" for short), came from China. She is also a top expert chef, expert on a wide variety of Asian cuisines, interacts much with the customers and is very nice. The restaurant is larger than it needs to be and so is very uncrowded/ spacious....great if you are concerned about Covid. Decor is not fancy. The dishes are the owner's creation but in authentic Asian style and every one has been delicious. A previous review said it was "order at the counter" (which I hate) but it's actually full & good service. Great food, great fun. I'm afraid that my good review might make help make this place get "discovered", but it is due.

Excellent spicy beef noodle soup! Everything we ordered (spicy beef noodle soup, Chongqing noodle soup, panfried dumplings, and chicken wings) were hot, fresh and delicious. The flavor of the spicy beef noodle soup was very fragrant. It's not too spicy IMHO and very flavorful. Beef was tender. Portion size standard for Naperville Chinese restaurants. The thick noodles have that QQ quality Chinese people love.Chongqing noodles were significantly more spicy. The thin noodles were straight and perfectly cooked. This is an oily dish (it's supposed to be) and I found the balance just right.Pork panfried Dumplings were a surprise hit. Plain exterior but very juicy and a solid staple.Chicken wings were generous in size, juicy, standard Chinese style flavor. These were good but not as uniquely outstanding as the other three dishes.J's kitchen may be my new favorite beef noodle soup place in this part of town. Highly recommend giving this restaurant a try!Restaurant is very clean and spacious. bathrooms were simple and clean.

The place is clean and bright. It did not have much decorations inside and in fact it looks a bit plain but in a good way. The place looks nice and it is cozy inside. The staff is accommodating, attentive and very helpful. She recommended their signature spicy beef noodles soup so that is why I ordered. I did not order much because I was not in the mood. Service is quite fast. The spicy beef boodles soup has a nice portion and perfect for one person only. The broth is flavorful and the spiciness really kicks in my mouth but it was bearable. The noodles are perfectly cooked and the beef is tender and delicious as well. It is my first time to visit this place and I really like their spicy beef noodles soup and I highly recommend it. I just wish that this place is near my place. I would definitely love to be back and try that noodle again.

What a lucky day! My husband and I were looking for a ramen restaurant before shopping at H Mart and stopped at J’s Kitchen based on a Google search. I was so excited when I saw the specials board and looked at the menu!! The owner was so gracious in explaining the dishes we were interested in and our food was absolutely delicious! We ordered Chinese potato salad (a crunchy treat!), very flavorful vegetarian Marinated Tofu Ramen, spicy Chongqing Traditional Street Noodle, fresh plum juice, and green bean cake for dessert. Everything we had was so fresh and tasty, we will be back to try different dishes very soon. This is my new favorite Chinese restaurant!

Came across this place when I was planning to do the carry out on the Christmas day ?. Didn't order on that day but did get it the next day. The food was delicious and was on the lighter side, not salty like a lot places are. The owner is really nice too. Highly recommend! ???❤

The fried rice bowl is prefect. Best FR I've had in Illinois. Great portion for the cost!\\nTheir desserts are gorgeous too and worth a try.\\nConveniently close to work and the store, it's my favorite place for lunch\\nGive it a try!

This place is the most flavorful, satisfying and authentic SE Asian food in DuPage. The prices are reasonable for the area and an absolute bargain for the quality and quantity of the food. The interior has a clean, modern and spacious atmosphere. The staff are very polite. I highly recommend this place.\\n\\nPS we ended up asking for extra dumpling dipping sauce because it was so delicious.
