I love the food! The sushi is the closest to what I tasted in Japan. Small amount of rice, and perfect moist :) I love the unagi sushi as well! Not fishy, perfect amount of sauce, just enough sweet! The yaki udon was tasty. It almost tastes like how okonomiyaki tastes like but with udon! The only downside is how long it takes for our food to come out. We sat for over an hour before our mains came out. Not to mention that in the end one of the items we ordered didn’t come out. Thankfully they’re kind to refund the $$.Again, food is good.
Wow this place has great sushi, the flavor was amazing. Prefer the sushi over the rolls. Very nice little spot and great service.
Excellent service, sushi was remarkably fresh and flavors all paired very well. My wife and I both had trouble deciding which of the four we liked best.WabisabiMy ExIkkaiZesty salmonAll four were delicious
The wait was quite long but we got lucky and an earlier reservation was cancelled. It was nice of the staff to let our walk-in fill the spot. We tried a mix of all the vegetarian sushi and a couple of the specialty maki (rainbow, zesty, "this", and ocean prime). Everything was amazing, and the vegetarian options were surprisingly good. One of the better sushi spots I've been to in the burbs.
This place is incredible! The food and the ambiance was wonderful. It's my ideal type restaurant, no frill, simple, 10 table place that just makes amazing food. We have tried so many sushi places in and around this area and this is BY FAR the best on all fronts. Also, very very reasonable prices as compared to others. A must try!!!
This is one of the best sushi restaurants in the west suburbs. Their appetizers and rolls were great, and we really enjoyed their high-quality fish. Toro was delicious, uni from Japan was absolutely amazing. We got to try some other interesting fish that were not on the menu, everything was delicious!
Let's get the cons out of the way. This place is very small. You'll feel cramped if you choose to sit in the aisle. Also your order will take a while to be made. But sitting at the bar gave me a look at how fast the chefs are working at making each sushi order. These guys know what they're doing. And the sushi tastes amazing in my opinion. The fish tastes fresh, tender, almost sweet. None of the fishy flavor comes out that you taste in some cheaper restaurants. The zesty maki with lemon zest was my favorite roll. Definitely worth coming by. But if you're hungry, maybe order a miso or appetizer.
This is by far the best sushi in Naperville and the surrounding areas. My wife and I went here for a chefs dinner and were blown away. We have been back about a half dozen times since. 10/10 cannot recommend highly enough
Left absolutely speechless. The fish is very fresh, the presentations of the different dishes is elegant, and best of all, the service is great. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Wow!! Just Wow!!These amazing foods will make you taste of heaven. Just amazing. Also the interior is so modern and clean. The staffs are incredibly kind and supportive. Also, I cannot miss the plating of each dish. When you visit here, you will understand what the foods are delicious from just seeing them.It is a gem of downtown naperville. Strongly recommended!!
