I stumbled on this restaurant and it was such a coincidence because I was also craving tacos that day. The restaurant was not busy. That was the first thing I noticed when I went in. The restaurant is also clean, and the atmosphere somehow feels homey and certainly comfortable for me. They have a nice and wide selection on their menu, and anything seems like a great choice. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, and they recommended something that will be of great assistance. So, I basically ordered four different types of their tacos, which are the blackened fish, steak, al pastor, and shrimp tacos. The service, by the way, is quick. I started with their chips and guacamole, which were good and tasted like normal chips and guacamole to me. What amazes me is definitely their tacos, because their tacos taste amazingly different in a good way, especially with the blackened fish. I really like their tacos. Each one I ordered had a delicious flavor. Everything tastes fresh too. I just love everything about their tacos that I cannot seem to get enough of, which is why I will definitely be back. I highly recommend their tacos. I will also recommend this restaurant to my friends.
I have been a fan of Fire it Up Tacos for 5 years and going strong! I don't regularly eat out, but when I do this is one of the local places I love to support. The flavors in their tacos are fabulous. The Asian pork taco with pickled ginger is my favorite. The pork is juicy and flavors in the sauce are spunky and balanced. The Portobello is probably my second fave. The ingredients are always fresh (they source locally as much as possible.) The unique seasonal tacos are always worth a try too. :)I like the way they redesigned during the pandemic to make the experience a little more casual, but still providing great food, and awesome local beer selection and good service. I am happy you are still around! Please keep serving delicious tacos in an unpretentious space!
We love this place! ALWAYS great tacos, and the bowls are excellent too. Super fresh and not overwhelming in portion size. Would appreciate a few more appetizers besides chips, beans and guac but if that's their thing, they're doing all 3 right. Everything is awesome here.
I popped in here with some girls after reading some good reviews. Right off the bat, the space is huge and smells super clean. I was surprised by how empty it was. The gentleman that came out to take our orders seemed a little rushed. We ordered some tacos, bowls and chips and guac. The chips and guac were definitely the best part, but for the price there was barely any guac and a whole lot of chips. The bowls were just okay and it was kind of a bummer that you cant make substitutions or additions. The tacos were in the better side of average. Ive definitely had better tacos, especially for the price, but if you’re hungry and in the area its worth trying.
The restaurant has a really nice ambiance and it feels really great inside, plus it is also clean and it is quiet even if it is full. I wanted tacos, so we decided to have some at this place after 15 minutes of driving around the area. It was my first time at the restaurant, and I was really impressed by their great customer service. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and they are attentive too. Upon looking at their menu, I was a bit surprised because I thought it was some authentic Mexican restaurant, but after seeing their menu, I realized that it was not, and it was something different, like a fusion restaurant, considering the unique tacos they have and the other foods on their menu. We had different tacos and chips and salsa. Honestly, I did not like their tacos that much. They tasted good, but I did not feel like them for some reason. I liked their chips and salsa because the salsa tasted really good. I almost forgot to mention their drink. Their drinks are the best, and if I wanted to come back to this restaurant, it would definitely be for their drinks.
We love love love this place! Wonderful owner and staff, food is always fresh yet speedy. Presentation always looks great. These are some of the best tacos around tbh. The chips and bean dip are also a must! Tons of gluten free options as well as vegetarian.
DELICIOUS! I stopped in here for tacos after a very serious “you need to get tacos fromhere ASAP” rec from a friend. She loves it for their vegetarian options. I had the bean dip (very unique and flavorful!) with house made chips, Asian pork, steak and shrimp. All three were delicious-perfect meat texture, the right amount of spice and tasty toppings! 2 Corn tortillas on each taco, stayed warm on my 15 min ride home. I also loved the atmosphere and their signage telling customers where they source their ingredients! Can’t wait to return for their drinks and to try the rest of the menu!
I visited Fire It Up last Friday with my fiance and another couple. We shared a couple pitchers of margaritas, the dip trio and the taco flight. The dip trio is an absolute hit - I can't choose which dip was the best. The flight was fun to share as a group and the asian pork tacos were delicious. You can't go wrong eating at this place. Everything is fresh and their entire staff is friendly. The Sou Chef/Manager stopped by our table after the meal to ask us how everything was. We'll definitely be back again.
10 of us came here for our regular Saturday afternoon out with friends. Most of us had margaritas, including the jalapeno one. We felt the margaritas were a tad expensive. Our group tried most of the different tacos. All yummy. We also shared 2 of the 3 dip and chip platters. The chips are fantastic. Very relaxed setting.
Best tacos period! We will be back!! If you haven’t tried this place you are missing out. Try the shrimp and chophouse taco if they have it on the menu! The Al pastor was also amazing.
