Great customer service, such kind and friendly people. Food was amazing!
So far I have had five sandwiches here with their homemade chips. It’s a place where you can taste the love put into everything they make. My favorite is the Cheesesteak but the Reuben is a close second.
We were really surprised they had no salads. I had family visiting who needed salad for their meal so I thought we had the perfect place, and they had none though the signs out their window said salads. They looked at us like we were nuts. Deli pasta salads is not what comes to mind when a window sign says salads! Guess we go to Jason's Deli!
Ellie’s is on of my go to places in Naperville. The Brazilian Steak Panini, Chicken Salad, and Rueben, are tremendous. The French fries are, in my mind, exactly what French Fries should be. The owners are also hardworking people and I’ve enjoyed getting to know them as I’ve gone back repeatedly.

Today was my first ever visit to this business. Their lunch special was an attractive offer, as I have seen it earlier in their window. I phoned in my order ahead and I was asked to allow 15 minutes prior to picking up my order. My order was ready for me when I arrived. I was greeted and I paid for my meal and left.I am a retired chef and have 15 years of restaurant experience working in extremely challenging and very stressful moments when the restaurant fills with walk in customers who are under the assumption that they will be in and out in five minutes. At times I really wish it worked that way for me as well but that couldn't be further from the truth. Compound that with CoVid and a dire shortage of the ability to find anyone willing to put on an apron and rise to that level of challenge.Perhaps we could lower all of our levels of high expectations by simply having compassion in some capacity towards these businesses and individuals who are doing all they can to meet the demands of customers who are easily disappointed and believe that waiting is unacceptable in an unfortunate unprecedented time. Please call ahead. It will save a lot of time and we can get past this together. I will definitely return to Ellie's Deli and thank them each time for all of their service and efforts to remain in business.
Great little deli/sandwich shop, great customer service and friendly. We honestly tried them based on how savage all their replies were on some of the reviews here. Portion sizes decent for the price. Great fresh bread, we will definitely be back!!!!

This way my second time here. Customer service is superb, food is delicious, and sitting area is clean. I would highly recommend to anyone. Also, their lunch specials are very decently priced!!
