Came in today for lunch and the place was dead. Only one guy was there picking up. No one else was dining. First time here. There was a lady cook so I thought that was odd as it’s always men in Mexican kitchens. Possibly the worst burrito I’ve had. Another red flag is they have Tuesday taco specials. A good Mexican restaurant doesn’t have specials.
I have heard that it is one of the good Mexican restaurants in the area that I know of. It is definitely an authentic restaurant just based on the tastes, the looks, and the overall flavor of their food. It’s been a while since I've been here and nothing really new. It is still a cute and clean spot with a nice interior and a relaxed atmosphere and vibe. The staff they have are also friendly and welcoming. I just ordered their El Mexicano al pastor burrito for takeout. It was pretty quick, and I never really got the chance to linger longer in the restaurant. I knew I missed their food, and I was really excited to eat it, so I ended up eating it on the way. It was a great satisfaction for me after I ate it. The food was still as good as before. I will be honest, because the al pastor was a bit dry for me, but the salsa was so great that it blended really well. It was really delicious and I regret ordering only one. The price is still reasonable. Their prices are generally reasonable. I cannot wait to be back again at this good restaurant. I highly recommend this authentic and delicious Mexican restaurant.
Top notch, locally-owned Mexican restaurant. Food was fantastic and plentiful for the price. Dining room was very clean and played great music to dine to. Very friendly owners/manager that provide great service!
Definitely I'm not going backI ordered a steak burrito but it was a rice, beans, and lettuce burrito I berari found a few pieces of steak.
I stopped in the restaurant to grab something to eat. It was my first time visiting the restaurant. My first impression is that it is clean and, for a small restaurant, the atmosphere and vibe are really nice. It's not crowded, and the atmosphere is laid-back. It is also not noisy inside, which I really like. The staff at the counter are nice and friendly. While I was choosing what to order, I noticed that their menu has a few good options, which is not really too many, and just enough authentic Mexican food options. I simply ordered a burrito and that's it. There was a little wait, but it was not really that long. The burrito is eventually served, and at first glance, I was really like, "This is a huge burrito and it looks really delicious too." However, it does not exactly taste based on what it looks like, because it is good, but for me, it could be something better. It definitely lacks flavor, which is why it tastes good but not really delicious. I also think that the price is fair.
I ordered a burrito and it was too salty, the green salsa was already expired and the torta del pastor did not look/taste like al pastor it looked like tinga. Personally i didnt like it.
We've been ordering to-go from here for the last year. It's become our favorite restaurant. We particularly enjoy the steak in burritos and quesadillas.
The ice machine was out. The frier was out. They exclude the horchata from your fountain drink. The horchata was gross. And their menu was very limited they didn't have anything. The taco meat was salty.
I stopped here around lunchtime and placed a togo order. There wasn't a line so I was able to walk right up. We got home and dug in. The food was a little salty, and had great flavor. I'll definitely be back.
Ordered steak burrito with Pinto and red sauce and an order of chicken flautas. Flautas are great, crisp and with a well seasoned chicken, not overdone. Burrito leaves a lot to be desired. Good size but overdone rice, overly salted steak. More of a meat and cheese tube than a balanced burrito.
