The pan pizza was excellent. Sauce-great, crust-great, cheese-overflowing. It's a classic tavern and it's been at this location forever. Now I see why. They know something about making a great pizza.We got the mozzarella sticks and they were great too.We called in the order, it was ready on time and the bartender hooked us up.Highly recommend.
Outstanding food and decent selection of drinks. Most of the food and starters are made fresh.Very friendly owners/ staff members.Recommended for lunches and after work appetizers, drinks or even for Friday night out.

today I got a pizza that looked amazing and lacked taste, what's happened?
Though their pizza n chili might be good... Tonight I got a fish fry n was soggy n no cheese or sour cream on my what looks like someone took a bite out of n forgot my cheese and sour cream!
We will definitely be back to see Wes and the gang at Gilmer Road House when we're on a jaunt away from home on Chicago's North Side. These folks know the true meaning of hospitality. But even if they were not so warm and wonderful, we'd come for the food! Fabulous menu and talented kitchen.
This is a good neighborhood tavern, with nice food and beer selection. Food is good, prices are good. Bar section can be crowded, restaurant section usually is not too bad.
I had never stopped in the Gilmer road House but i heard the pizza was good. Ordered two for deliver. Even though I live on the outer edge of their delivery radius, they got my pizzas here piping hot in under 60 minutes. The pizza was great. I will definitely be a continuing customer. Friendly service too.
