Delicious food with fast and friendly service. It’s very small with mostly counter seating and very few tables, but the wait was short and the food completely worth the trip!

the food was great! quick and attentive service I recommend it #100

This was my 1st time experiencing Ramen. Internal setup in the restaurant is like a typical Japanese ramen place. Loved everything ordered such as Shrimp tempura, oysters and chicken appetizers. Ramen was amazing. There is a vegetarian broth option available in case you don’t want pork broth. Must visit!

best ramen in the Chicagoland area

I really wanted to rate higher but the food was not as expected, the service was good even though there was a kitchen malfunction which took us more than an hour to eat the ramen, but the ramen was nothing but SALTY, which is their signature I guess, could not taste much flavor after couple bites, we’ve been here before as well as downtown store, pretty much the same

As someone who regularly visits family in Japan and is an prolific eater, Misoya is one of my top places to go to get that Japanese miso ramen taste. In terms of setting, this place is always busy on Friday nights & weekends so be prepared for a wait if you decide to go those days. If not, it’s a really chill place to get a weekday dinner.

This is my favorite ramen place in the Chicago suburbs! Good portion sizes and the broth is super flavorful. Noodles are of good texture and plenty of choices for toppings.

Confession: I heard so much about this ramen restaurant chain from Japan and have high expectations. We been to Japan few times and was hoping for something better than typical U.S. based ramen and was disappointed.I must try another soup base. What I had wasn’t that good. It was too salty and thick. Everything a good ramen supposed to be this wasn’t.

They give you a huge bowl of ramen and care about a nice presentation, also all staff wear masks :)

Literally the taste of Hokkaido in the northwest Chicago suburbs. The atmosphere, the smells, the sounds, you won't believe you're not within the land of the rising sun.Do expect to wait 20-30 min if visiting any weekend or holiday evening. Cozy seating, great service. An absolute must visit for the pallette desiring a flavor atypical of the usual westernized fare available in many tourist downtowns and chinatowns.
