Used to work here and it was phenomenal! A lot has changed! The ribs were still great! The remainder kf the orders were fair. The service, on the other hand, left a lot to be desired. Our waitress was rude. Rolled her eyes when we asked if we could get separate checks. The bartender did the same! Huffed when I didn't give her all 7 drinks at the same time. Silly me, I thought I was being helpful by ordering a couple at a time so she could remember them. Made me sad. Perhaps they were understaffed. If so, how about just telling your table that it may be a little longer today due to being understaffed? Explanations go a long way. It's totally understandable if you're understaffed; everyone is! Just don't be rude to your customers.
A favorite local hangout. Outdoor patio is very nice, indoor dining areas are cozy. Staff is very friendly.

Great historic Tavern/Restaurant. Excellent service and great food.I sat at the century old bar with the original bar back. The place is beautiful. I had a simple but tasty corned beef on rye. Genuine amounts of lean corned beef in the sandwich. I asked for loaded fries and they were delicious using thick steak fries.A definite place to go to if you love good food in a historic place.

Came to try a local place. Kelly our server was fantastic. Nice big outdoor patio area with a tv. Draft beer great but no beer or drink specials. thursday special was all you can eat fish but didn't have it. Instead had the half rib/half chicken combo. Spouse had the pot roast. The cabbage soup great with meat pieces, the chilli was yummy with baked cheese, ribs, chicken and pot roast outstanding. Skip the side of corn tasted old out of can and fries were ok. The salad and twice baked potato were good. Overall this place was fantastic just need some improvements on the sides but the main course super.

I wish this outside place can be open even in the winter if they put heaters and closed the outside space. Their food is great, but their inside space seems so closed in. I usually wouldn't care but with the pandemic we are just trying to keep safe.
