We ordered a gyro, Italian meatball sandwich and a perfectly seasoned big beef. All the sandwiches were excellent and tender with high quality meats, We had very good onion rings that were fresh and crunchy. The fries were hot and tender. I have been here a few times and have never been disappointed. My family enjoyed the high quality food and will definitely be coming back.
First and last time for me and my family . Ordered two grilled chicken pesto sandwiches and two cheeseburgers with fries . Food tasted fine for the type of restaurant it was but come an hour after we ate and was a battle with the toilets all 3 in the house were occupied ? . Also while at the drive through the back door was open by the big trash container meat boxes were thrown all over the floor . Rats might get in guys management should be more alert with things like that. My biggest regret was not taking pictures of the open back door with bloody meat bags in them because that would of had a good answer your reply below ? not very professional the way you answer to some of your low ratings .
I have lived in the area for 8 years and just recently tried this place out. On the exterior it doesn’t look like much but holy cow, they have some of the best pizza, burgers, hot dogs, beefs and chicken sandwiches around! Their pizza puff is top notch. Fries are always fresh and they serve Pepsi products. I can’t believe I waited this long to eat here! Definitely check the place out. The staff are always friendly and despite the 70s looking theme the place is clean. Prices can’t be beat either!

First visit today. Excellent staff and food. We had a beef, cheeseburger, cheese fries. Very clean nice restaurant 50's style. Cant believe I had not found it years ago.Huge menu to please everyone. Will be back for sure.
Been coming 2-4 days a week for lunch for over 2 years. Prices are awesome, chopped salad and soup are always consistently good.
Love eating here. Been coming here since I was a kid. Now I live out of town and frequented her many times over the summer. Was here finalizing some things on my dads house and walked in to order lunch and was greeted very rudely “do you have a mask? We don’t take orders without a mask” I said “yes l in my car” which I did and if it was portrayed a little more professionally l, I would have ordered. But I left. Be a little more respectful ladies.
I found this place when I was working in the area back in 2005 and I would stop there for lunch all the time. Unfortunately I live far away and can only stop in once in a while now. If you don't care about calories and you like great tasting food, this is a place for you. They serve up a lot of the classic Chicago beef stand foods. They have Italian beef, I always go with the cheezy beef. They also serve Italian sausage, burgers, hot dogs, gyros and pizza. If you are in the area I would recommend that you stop in for a cheezy beef.
This was my high school hangout 25 years ago! I was just back in town and it was still every bit as good and amazing how well it has survived all this time. The food is awesome and the inside is clean and still the great diner look!
My family loves Mr Beef! The food is excellent and they have a Greta staff.
