Pizza's are consistantly excellent. Staff friendly and courteous. This is my go to place for a pizza craving.
A pretty decent deep dish with a pretty hefty wait time. For me personally, thin crusted options are a better bet.
Yesterday I was thinking about getting Jibaritos, but decided to try MP Malnati's instead. Wow, thrilled they had g.f. deep dish!!! Really looking fwd. to this, haven't had a deep dish in, like, 35 years! (You know... the Gluten thing.)Pizza was done on time, and everyone at Prosp Hts location was very nice! But at the first taste I discovered they used rice flour in the crust (a) NO flavor -- ya need corn or some other grain to help out. (b) Heavy, hard as a rock, difficult to bite thru. (c). The parts that were soft had unappealing textures. Like cardboard with gooey spots. (see photo #2)So, Crust: Strike One.Their "plain tomato sauce" was just that. Tasted right out of the can, very metallic. It made the toppings taste metallic tool.So Sauce: Strike Two.Now, I always expect to pay a dollar or so more for a g.f. crust. And I figured a PAN pizza crust would be a bit more than thin crust. But I fell thru the floor, a 10 inch "small" with 3 toppings and nothing else (no drinks, no sides, nothing) was $26.00!!! That's two g.f. pizzas everywhere else, with good tasting crust and delicious sauce and many more toppings to choose from. So Price: Strike Three.Tried to get a slice off the cardboard round. Wouldn't budge. I had to slice thru the crust horizontally (see photo #1) to get most of each piece up, and they were all in pieces when I did. Most other places put a plastic net spacer underneath, and their pizza never sticks to the carboard round.So Packaging: Strike Four.Shoulda stuck with the Jibaritos. Won't be going back.
Good deep dish pizza, but cost me and my friend extra money for boneless wings and they only offer 20 ounce sodas.
Great Pizza!!! This is a small takeout location. The staff were very nice and resolved quickly an issue with my order.
Not sure what happened to this great pizza establishment in Mount prospect Il. Second time tonight that we were delivered dry, flat , old stuffed pizza that didn't even resemble a typical Lou's. Contacting the corporate folks tomorrow. So sad. Had 4 people to serve didn't even finish either pizza.

This is a must stop if you have any interest in Chicago and/or pizza. The pizza is to die for! It ain't cheap but it's worth every cent and will set for you a new standard for all pizza. It's that good. Order the extra buttery crust deep dish. Put whatever you want on it. Mortgage your house, sell your siblings. Do whatever you have to do to GET THIS PIZZA! Try their house salad with the house dressing, it's HUGE and delectible!Multiple locations...all of them are great!
Charlie was very nice and welcoming! Pizza is great as usually. Our go to deep dish pizza location!
