Excellent food, plenty of options, reasonable prices, fast and friendly service, clean establishment, good location. My mom and I came here for lunch today for the first time and really enjoyed it. We will most definitely be back!Also, an added bonus to whom it may concern - they have a private slot machine room towards the back if you're feeling lucky.

This hotdog and burger place is one of the all time greatest! Be sure to stop in on a Monday to get the .99 cent hotdogs. The service and the food is fantastic! This is a A+++++ on my list!
I seriously love all of the food they have here. Heffy’s Hot Dog is exceptional! They are definitely one of the best fast food in this whole area of Mt Prospect. I am really impressed with the customer service they have here, their staff is so professional, they are very friendly, nice, and helpful. They are willing to assist their customers all the time. Giving the things that their customers need from their kitchen such as water, cutlery, etc. Also answering the questions of their customers right away. They are very nice and they actually gave me many reasons to come back. Their managers and owners are also great. Everyone at this place is awesome. They really love doing their job. They also care to all of their customers. When it comes to their food, this place won’t disappoint, and they will prove to you that they are really best. The food here is made to perfection, fresh, perfectly prepared, and also very delicious. Can’t wait to go back here again when I am nearby. Still want to order the same food I had last time I visited. I am really amazed how great this place is. I really enjoyed my meal. This is not to talk bad about the place but it was my first time there and it will be my last. I read all these reviews about it being good so I went. Obviously most of the people didn't grow up in Chicago with good gyros and hot dog places. I grew up on Hubs on Lincoln Ave so I know what a good Greek/gyros place tastes like. The gyros tasted like they dipped it in salt, I know gyros is usually on the salty side but this was on another level. I got some old fries that we're refried and super greasy and salty. The pita was hard like it was out for a long time. I'm really surprised that people gave this place 4.4 stars.
The worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. Beef tacos in corn tortillas. Easy, right? Wrong. Cold tortillas, dried out meat. Rice was boil In the bad rice, You can tell. I flavor. Never again.
Love the traditional feel of this place. The folks that work there are amazingly nice and fun. They have the best gyro burger and fries I have had in my life.
I seriously love their food in here. They are definitely one of the fast food that has good and delicious hot dogs in the area. There are also other options on their menu but their hot dogs are my favorite. Aside from good food, the place is always clean and the staff in here are all nice and friendly. Sometimes the hot dogs and the fries are quite greasy but that was totally fine. I mean, they are just basically a fast food and grease from the oil cannot be avoided. I like their food as long as I can have it in a quick and the prices are cheap. Kudos to this spot!
New owner really cares about the quality of not only the food but your experience at Heffy's.Changing the menu. Keeps the visits again and again more interesting. Like adding mac and cheese two items on the agenda that changes the entire scope of the experience. I would suggest you try jefe's oh, you'll certainly like it!
