Sat at the drive thru mic for 6-8 minutes after being told one moment, car rolls up after me and gets their order taken immediately. Then after driving up to window to place my order with the cashier i had to wait again(which is fine) but it gets better they left an item off my order and proceeded to put mayo on my sandwich after i asked them not to, thank God i checked my bag and can dispute the charge, service was terrible! I understand they may be understaffed but it only takes a few moments to double check and handle an order with care.
Used to like Buona a lot. Still like their signature Italian sausage creation and the Italian beef combo is pretty awesome. Problem is it's becoming too much of a fast food joint where too many dishes outside their purview lack the quality and flavor I came to expect from Buona. Simplifythe menu is what I'd suggest. No funky bowls with chicken salad and stay away from the deep fried rice ball with mystery ground meet . Could improve on burger skills also. Stick to the classics as represented by Italian beef and Italian sausage or the respective combos and you've got a winner.
I love Buona, I got the fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken, omg delicious. Sauce is the best and the pasta is like homemade. They have great burgers, pizza, beefs and honestly everything I've had has been yummy.
They are on top of everything! Food is great and by far the best dining experience I've ever had! My fiance and I went for the first time for our anniversary and we were blown away! The service, food, wine and overall ambiance is like nothing we've ever seen.
Service is always very fast and friendly. The restaurant is always clean and inviting. I've had a couple different dishes and always been satisfied. I'd steer away from the Cheddar Cheezy beef
Tasted like any other Chicago beef sandwich. Bell peppers were large diced instead of julienned..what are they thinking? Staff was excellent, very helpful and courteous. Restaurant appeared to be clean. Fast service with quick-park and pick-up parking. Wheelchair very accessible. Will return.
They put cheddar cheese on their Italian beef... I guess that's a signature thing for this company. But a lot of other restaurants usually use mozzarella cheese. I ordered an Italian beef with mozzarella cheese instead. When I got home I realized they gave me cheddar cheese. The Italian beef was very very salty. And of course I could not return it because I already got home with it. Even after telling them I wanted a different cheese they still gave me the wrong one.
LOVE any Buona. But they got rid of the croissant beef, sad. But anyways the regular was really good and the fries are always perfect!
Beefs flavor/seasoning is delicious and fries are great too. The only problem I have is when I got my beef bowl my beef was almost cold. Fries were very hot, but I was disappointed in the beef not being hot.
Awful service! Cashier lady had a bad attitude. We ordered 2 salads and both came with moldy cheese. This is the SECOND time this location has given me moldy cheese. White gunk and green spots all over the cheese so the salads were a total waste. Called the store to tell the manager and he rudely insisted we were lying about the mold. DO NOT eat here unless you want to get very sick. DO NOT eat here if you are looking for fast or friendly service. Waste of money.
