Food: 8/10, when it's good it's good. When it's bad it's still pretty ok.Servers: 6.5/10, I've been here many times and the servers tend to bring out incorrect orders more frequently than similar restaurants but they are friendly.Draft beer: 6/10, not a wide selection and the carbonation always seems to be lacking.
The food is great….I recommend that. The waitstaff needs to improve on customer service. I have had waitstaff the last few times who aren’t the friendliest…no smiles, etc. Our waitress today was a bit sarcastic, and condescending in her tone and the look on her face was not pleasant. We are very friendly and good costumers, not demanding.
I LOVE Miss Mamie's and have gone there for 30 years. The food is delicious and I have favorite menu items. I really like the remodel they have done at Miss Mamie's and are currently doing at Mo Brady's. Miss Mamie's is located in a great location and easy to get to. I support locally owned restaurants. BUT what really bothers me is this... They are narrowing their gap from other local restaurants. What is their differentiating factor? You know... the little touches they once had and since have done away with. Just to name a few... Cloth table coverings; Option to make a reservation; Cinnamon rolls, etc. What happened... Of course their prices have gone up... allot... enough to cover the services we once had. Will I continue to go, yes, but not as frequently. Will I talk about this place having a unique experience... No, not at this time.
My wife and I are there yesterday. I had quiche but it wasn't consistently heated throughout. But the worse news is they have discontinued their cinnamon rolls forever. Deal breaker.
Got the special shrimp and grits. Didn't say it was spicy. I can't have spicy food. So when my food came my boyfriend switched plates with me. Food was good. It just would have been nice to denote that my dish was spicy. There are alot of people that can't have spice and I am one of them. Restaurant was updated and clean. Waiter was nice.

Ah•May•Zing!The food was great, the service was great (looking at you, Marilyn!) And the atmosphere was good. I am genuinely impressed, my wife of 18 years (been together for 20) had wanted to go there ever since the place opened 30 years ago, and we finally went together.You guys have earned a repeat couple, and outside of the food being good & my Moscow Mule being outstanding, our waitress was the next biggest deciding factor!See you all again soon!
Mostly okay, but one would think a steak and seafood place would know know how to cook a medium rare steak. After I sent the first well done steak back, they sent out a medium done steak. I'll go back but if I order a steak I will order it rare.
This place has went downhill after covid struck. They're barely open & they don't take reservations but mainly their food is not as good as what it used to be. You'd think after they increased their prices the food would be even better but it's not. My steak was tiny & overcooked, my friend's ribs were very dry & our salads had no croutons & tomatoes on it like they used to put on there. Idk maybe a different cook that they hired? Anyway it's not that great like before. Save your money & go somewhere else.
Amazing food. My family and I go here almost once a month. The food is always amazing. Plus you get complimentary rolls and cinnamon rolls with sweet butter.
