Went here on a whim when our original choice didn't work out but we will definitely be back! The chimichangas and street tacos were delicious. Generous with the queso and the salsa was hot the way I like it. The waiter was very nice and fast and our one year old had a great time with her!
Have not been back to this restaurant for a year and will not ever go back. I was here a year ago with friends and the waitress was literally so rude we could not believe it. She would literally glare at us with narrowed eyes and and one time she didn’t respond to a request so I repeated it, and she snapped that she heard me the first time. We were not being unreasonable or overwhelming, just simply ordering and it wasn’t even detailed orders. We were so upset at the service we haven’t returned and we used to go almost every weekend. I now go to Habaneros in the mall. They are much friendlier and the food is better.
Lovely service. Clean, prompt friendly service. Glad to see this restaurant survived the pandemic.
I've wanted to try one of their locations as they were bold enough to name themselves for what tequila is made from. The El Presidente is one of the better margaritas that I've hadThe chips were a minor disappointment. But, the entree was worth overlooking bagged chips. The carnitas were definitely worth my time. (Although I have yet to understand why tortillas are given out like they were precious.) Three tortillas were the right amount for the meal. (Most Midwest Mexican restaurants charge for extras. If I can buy a package retail for $3 for 20, 3 extra shouldn't be a charge!)Overall, it was excellent.
Have ate lunch here many times but on Tuesday I had a unsatisfactory experience. The waitress was unpleasant and abrupt. I ordered a taco salad which came with only rather bland ground beef, lettuce, 1 small piece of tomato and sour cream. No beans, no cheese, and the taco salad shell wasn't even half full. My friend with me was also surprised at how my salad looked. When I mentioned to waitress my disappointment, she was not helpful or pleasant and didn't offer any solution.IF, I go back, I will NOT sit in her section.
I had a little inconvenience with them tonight, was immediately fixed by the manager! I was so pleased by how friendly and quick the team was to resolve it! My partner and I come here all the time, we love the food and the people! The food is amazing and the environment is lively! Highly recommend!
Good service even when busy!! The sauce they serve with the fish tacos is even better than the stuff they serve with the chips. It's hotter.

Love this place for takeout, especially during lunch as the prices are lower. The food is fantastic, at least for the Quad Cities. Have always had good service here, and the staff seems very friendly.
I called the restaurant 20 minutes before my break started asking how long it would take them to make a large queso with chips, the girl on the phone informed me it would take 10 minutes so I informed her I would be there at 5 to pick up the order, I then arrived around 5:05 and waited 10 minutes before being helped and 15 more minutes before I was told it still wasn’t ready, by this time my break would be over in 5 minutes so I had to leave empty handed. The restaurant could not heat up cheese and put chips in a bag in the 45 minutes they had been aware of my order, this was an extremely infuriating experience and I am upset because I enjoyed Los before this.
