I used to love this place, but we won’t be back. The place was dead, but our table was sticky. Eight adults in our group, all ordered meals, but the restaurant manager wouldn’t let me bring my 86-year-old mother’s homemade birthday cake inside, because I didn’t buy it from HyVee. I’ve done this at other restaurants without a problem. Going forward, I guess we’ll take the party elsewhere.
We had Will from Hy-Vee in Moline (Avenue of the Cities) cater our wedding food. Will is very knowledgeable of the policies, options, and how to cater large events, yet he was still able to make us feel like we were his only customer. We did a food tasting and he was great with feedback and helped us come up with food options that worked for us. As we got closer to the wedding, it was easy to work on timing, planning, and payment with him. The food was great! The service was great! We even had guests complimenting on the food options and the staff that were catering that day. They were very personable and treated all guests as people, not just numbers. We would recommend reaching out to Will for catering from Hy-Vee for your catering needs!

I'm writing this review as I still sit here waiting for my check, being ignored by all the staff, my waitress nowhere to be seen. The last I saw her was when she asked how our food was, to which my husband replied "okay", and she walked away without a word. To say the food was okay is extremely generous. We hardly ate it. We have eaten here before and loved it but I will tell anyone who asks to avoid it after today's experience.
Played bingo.but the food not very good.

Just no, long wait, cold food, and pricey.
Poor selection in the deli compared to other Hyvee stores and one of their handicapped spaces has the striped area taken up by a cart corral. I hope no one needs the striped area for a ramp
They no longer put groceries in your cart after bagging because they are short staffed- Mind you there’s workers all throughout the store stocking, gathering carts, and shopping for other people who aren’t even in the store. The smile in every aisle or customer service is long gone.
Seriously Hy-Vee Self checkout is not a perk. I can do that at Walmart and they actually work . No reason to pay more to get less service. Took 20 min in self checkout to buy 4 items and get assistance on things that would not ring up. When you have one cashier on Friday night you’re not thinking about your customers. Fine if you want to offer it but open your other lanes for customers who want someone else to do this. If I wanted to work there I’d send in my application.
