We bought some prepared food. All which was great. Bought many other groceries too. Fresh veggies are all fresh and great value. People working there were very friendly, helpful. Other shoppers were also friendly. It is a quaint small store packed with edible treasures.
They have the best carnivals, a good selection of Mexican items. The restaurant is no longer there but they offer some food to go like tamales.
If you're googling looking for the awesome restaurant that doesn't exist anymore... my condolences. It's just a grocery store now, only hot item is some carnitas.I was hungry, too, hahaha. Used to be an awesome place when the restaurant was open too.
They have the best fresh Mexican produce. And best fresh meat to make Spanish styled dishes. They have really great fresh made menudo best in the quad cities.
Was good some item was cheap or same the big stores another not so cheap more expensive the bigs stores but has a lot Mexican item that you can't find in bigs stores.
Horrible experience trying to get a hold of management for the store all day. The young ladies answering the phone kept hanging up on me without providing me with information to contact the manager including at least a name to direct mail to.
