We went for mother's day 2022. It took 2 HOURS to get our food. Drinks were never brought, toast was missing, etc. Then when I spoke to the manager about the wait, she said it was our fault and that the order wasn't put in the computer until over an hour in. I can't control when the order is put in the computer.Never again, especially with children.Absolutely terrible.
Came here for mother's day because the online reviews said it was one of the 10 best places for brunch in McHenry. We had reservations at 11am and were seated promptly. It took 15 minutes to get water and 45 minutes to get a menu. Once we ordered it took another hour to get our food and it was cold, tasted horrible and the English muffins were not even toasted. It also took a half hour to get our check and get cashed out. We ordered coffee with our meal and were there for 2 1/2 hours our cup was refilled only 3 times and that was a miracle to get that to happen. The table next to use got up and walked out after 45 minutes of no service at all and for all this we paid $50 per person. Needless to say we are very dissatisfied
I came upon this restaurant when out working in the area. The entrance looked very plain, but inside it was very nice and clean, well taken care of to be sure. I liked the golf club display at the entry which taught me about Taylor Made's history in McHenry. There is a lot of space for a small wedding banquet. When I went, it was very quiet as it was not the height of summer. The food was not too expensive for a country club restaurant open to public, portion size was great, and fries were crispy. Nice view of the water way behind the building.
We had an awesome 5-star experience today for Easter brunch! The staff was friendly, the food was good and the atmosphere was beautiful. A huge thank you to the entire staff for a wonderful experience!
I am a former employee. I was accused of stealing when there are cameras literally everywhere. Monica, the owner, has yet to provide proof. I quit because of these accusations and she doesn't treat you fair at all. Honestly you feel like you're being treated like a child. I honestly believe she accused me of stealing so she doesn't have to pay me for a banquet she still owes me from from my last check, or because she didn't like that I stand up for myself in unfair situations

We did their igloo experience. Everything was great except... the food. It was just okay.
Very good food, quiet place to eat, at the time the outdoor lights were not on so made it seem like they were closed when they were still open
