The staff that answered the phone was fine but my delivery driver was rude. I called and. I planned because part of my pizza didn’t have cheese on it, which I assumed was because the delivery driver had it angled. I gave those pieces to the garbage, complained and they sent me a new one.The delivery driver actually asked for the old pizza back. One side they got back was fine it was the parts I gave my dog as a treat because. Otherwise it’s trash. He saw I had a newborn in my hands and still insisted that I gave him the pizza back and not my boyfriend.Very rude. I just wanted my pizza in one piece.
Tasty and hot food! Quick delivery but the delivery driver banged loudly on our door and when we answered, we said thank you and he just gave a dirty look and turned around and went "ugghhh". We will definitely never order from here again. Maybe pickup only. Total waste of a tip tbh. I wish I could take it back but we paid ahead of time.
Ordered 1 pizza, it took an hour and 15 minutes to arrive Cold. Called to let them know and the Manager was so rude. After 2 years of ordering from them No more. They just lost a long time customer.
I used to order from here alot until today when I found a metal staple from my Italian beef sandwich. I called and all they said was do you want another one. I don't think I will be ordering from them again.
Good pizza, but the price and service, or lack thereof no longer justifies being a customer.Service has always been rude sounding over the phone. News flash: we know you’re busy, but you don’t have to make it a point to be short with customers, nor laugh over the phone at the disagreement we might be having. The nail in the coffin today was, I had called to ask about buying just their cheese for their pizza. I do this, because I’m a cook and I believe in using quality ingredients. You know, the same quality ingredients that the company advertises? The whole point of eating a Chicago style pizza is supposedly, you can’t get it anywhere else.Today, upon asking the cashier about it, the manager gets on the phone and says “alright, so what do you want?”. As if that’s professional dialogue. A better way to say it would have been “how may I help you”, for starters. The “guy” says to me, when I asked him about buying cheese, go buy some at the store it’s the same, with a laugh. Now I’m not sure how many of you have tried to make pizza at home, but if you don’t have the proper blend of mozzarella, or provolone, or, the proper moisture level, like ultra low moisture, part skim, vs low moisture whole milk, there’s plenty of differences.I argued and clearly stated that I begged to differ, being a cook most of my life and working as a GM in pizza for over 20 years. He quickly retaliates with “and I know what I’m talking about because I’ve been doing it for 30” as of now we are comparing d*** sizes. The bottom line is, I wanted to buy cheese from you and give you business. Because YOU, the so called manager just wanted to laugh and argue, you lost a 30 year customer.I also challenge you to make a better pizza than I. I’d like to start a poll on that one. Loser. The included pizza I made is cheese from a competitors. Was delicious!
DO NOT PURCHASE GIFT CARDS ; On December 22, 2021, I stopped in the McHenry IL location to purchase a gift card for my brother. I advised front counter employee Joy that it was for my brother in Indiana. Joy stated the cards were only good for the store I purchased them from. I advised Joy that this was not a gift certificate/coupon and a plastic gift card should apply to all Rosati locations. Joy went in the back room and returned stating the cards are now able to be used at any location. I purchased the card for $25. My brother in Indiana told me his Rosati's in Carmel IN would not accept it. The manager only accepted a 12 digit code and the one I purchased was 16 digits and needed a pin number. My brother even showed him the $25 balance on the Rosati website. On December 27, I spoke with front counter employee Lisa at the McHenry IL location and explained the above situation. Lisa asked me for my credit card last 4 digits and would have the district manager contact me on December 28. I advised Lisa to just credit back my card the $25 and this has put me in an embarrassing situation with my brother. I did not receive any contact from the district manager, so I called McHenry store back on January 3 and spoke to the store manager Jason. He remembered my gift card issue and asked for all the info on my receipt. He stated he would look into the matter. As of January 6, I have not received any resolution to this issue. Guess I'll purchase a gift card from one of your competitors hassle free after Rosati's credits back my money.
Stopped ordering from rosatis in mchenry about a year ago, due to orders being messed up and overall quality of the food. I Decided to Give it another try tonight and seems like it’s gotten even worse. Pizza showed up with half the cheese coming off the side. Can’t even eat a slice without the cheese falling off. I don’t understand why mchenry has so much issues with quality when fox lake and round lake beach locations are spot on. Can’t blame short staff because it’s always been lower in quality compared to other rosatis in the area.
Always pleasant, and on time! Plus great food!! Love it!
Never a bad slice. This is one of my favorite places to swing through for a quick lunch when I'm working in the area. Always have warm a tasty slices ready to go with a nice variety of toppings.
Stopped for dinner without call ahead order. It was a small wait, which we expected, but the order was made before the time they quoted and it was delicious! (We had the beef sandwiches and fries)
