Olive Garden might not be the most authentic Italian restaurant, but it's a good Italian restaurant and a popular chain. The food is consistently good, if sometimes expensive, and it's always worth the visit in my opinion. It's also one of the few restaurants that has food options that are completely vegetarian, which is sometimes a tricky proposition... Vegetarian safe cheese is not available at all restaurants or on all dishes here or anywhere else, but at least there are some options at Olive Garden.
If you're hungry it's fine (a bit pricey tho), go elsewhere for a more authentic upscale Italian meal.Dinner time hours at this restaurant start wind'g up abt 4p & ease off around 8:30p, later for Fri/Sat nites. Go off hours for a more relaxing, safer (if Covid is a concern) experience.
Food was flavorful and delicious. Staff was friendly and took cate of us. They were busy but that is to be expected. Definitely would go back again.
Love this place! It's a must-try Italian restaurant! My friend's favorite for 20 years and I think it would be my favorite from now on.The staff are nice and very professional, and the food is outstanding! I had the chicken alfredo, with the salad and breadsticks. It was awesome! The portion was a little big for me, but the taste is really good.I will definitely be back!
We had a minor issue with our food but the manager Brian was prompt and resolved the issue. The star of this location was our server Gage. Lightening McQueen here was quick with his service and kept the bread sticks coming! In a society focused on facts, it was evident Gage loves his job. Thanks for making our Saturday great!
Dined in for 2 family birthdays the other night. Food was good and the restaurant provides each birthday person a free dessert with a birthday song. Friendly service and very attentive even though the server had several tables. Always a good family experience.
Had a wonderful dinner with my wife and friends. Rachel was our server and was most attentive to us, as she was to her other customers. Food was very tasty....
There is some real opportunity for customer service training. My husband had checked on the app about the wait time and it said a 15 minute wait. We live 5 minutes away so we went. When we got there my husband was told 20 minute wait and when he mentioned the app said it was a 15 minute wait the host said oh well that's not realiable information on the app and now the wait is 35 minutes. So just because my husband mentioned checking the app our wait increased by 15 minutes that's very unprofessional.
We got the usual classics with a tour of Italy and the chicken Alfredo and a raspberry lemonade and strawberry lemonade. The place was packed for Thursday, we got a table within 10 minutes only problem is that we were seated on the right side of the building and close the windows by bar area which was very cold. The waitress was nice she was very quick. We like to go to different locations and see if we get a different experience.
I was at the Olive Garden in McHenry with my family, and I was gravely disappointed by the meal. 1st off, I ordered the calamari as an appetizer, and when I received it, it was all mushy and soft. So, I had that returned, and asked for a credit to my order. I also ordered a spinach and artichoke appetizer, that was mediocre. When I got my main entree the eggplant parmesan, that was mediocre as well. My fiance ordered the lasagna classico, and he said that was at least good, and his sisters just ordered soup and salad, but NEEDLESS to say, when I got home, I got food poisoning from the food at this franchise. I WILL NEVER BE RETURNING TO THIS OLIVE GARDEN IN MCHENRY ever again.
