I would suggest to try the bread nuggets. It is really good especially their garlic butter dip. Everything was decent. Just wished our server will smile more .
It was a perfect evening to enjoy dinner and drinks on the riverside patio. The Pina Coladas were awesome, along with the chop salad and pizza. Our server Kaitlyn C. was always a step ahead and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Thank you ?
I had an excellent time here and the staff was extremely kind. The food is also really good, except for what I ended up ordering, which was the pulled pork sandwich. The flavor was not bad but the entire sandwich was just soggy. While I wouldn't want a dry pulled pork I also do not care to have a literal pool of juice in the lower bun, making it not only messy but also difficult to eat, as it was falling apart.
I had a great time. It's such a beautiful place right on the river. The food was delish. I had Broasted Chicken. Yummm The best part of my afternoon was a handsome young waiter Nick. He was friendly and was very good at waiting on you. We never had to ask, he asked us and we were a party of 9. Excellent!
Love this place. Got the steak special on Saturday for 12.99 and it was worth every penny. Staff is always friendly and quick. Good parking for motorcycles also.
Great venue. The outdoor seating was awesome with good veiws of the river. Food was delicious and wait staff was very friendly. I would definitely eat here again.

One of the worst experiences ever. Starting with our seating and drink orders. Hostess/wait staff asked for our drink orders but because nothing is listed on the menu and it was clear we were looking for something, just stood there. When finally asked, she told us: Oh you mean Pop? Then rattled everything off. This i might add wasn't until her second trip to our table. I ordered their famous Homemade mom's home style recipe Pot Roast. When it arrived it was saturated in crispy onions (not in menu description, otherwise would of asked for None). The carrots were crunchy, the pot roast tough and chewy. Server did not come back over to check on us for a solid 15-20 minutes. Place was not Busy. When asked if I wanted a box I said, No I won't eat that. So ignored me and proceeded to ask my dinner mate if she wanted a box. Normally I don't complain, but the blatant disregard for my experience irked me. I then reiterated that it was nearly inedible. I was then told, oh okay, well I can see if my manager will comp your entree. No apologies, no manager visit to our table, no offer of a new meal, no anything as far as making sure I was as satisfied as possible as a customer that they want to return. Most of the time the "Hostess" and serve staff were off giggling and on their phones. All of this really makes me sad. I'm new to this area and had the opportunity a few months ago to try Moretti's and it was Fabulous. I also ordered from the Fox Lake location. The food was to die for!! Authentic Italian!! After my latest visit I don't think I will be back. In these days we are living in, one would think you would want to step up your game a little to keep customers coming back. I guess Moretti's doesn't need my business.
My family and I went to this Morettis a few days ago and our server was Kirstin and let me say… this was one of the best experiences I had in a restaurant. It was only her serving and she had 5 other tables and she was on top of everything. Food was great, greeted within 2 seconds of walking through the door.. and overall a great experience. I will be back again!
