Great little restaurant in downtown McHenry for breakfast and lunch, I really like old school counter service, they also have outdoor tables if you like.Awesome coffee and delicious breakfast. Servers are friendly and attentive and the entrée pricing was very affordable with a large selection.

Small town diner feel. Service was outstanding. Food was average. While we were there we witnessed two different tables send food back because of problems. Not sure what the problems were. We will ho back.
Great little place. Came in a group of 6 so at the time they stuck us in the bar next door. Still a great time. Had the Big Chef. Pancakes were fantastic and hashbrowns were actually crispy. Definitely a save for me.
Phenomenal mom and pop breakfast spot. Hot food and coffee. They were not shy with the extra bacon either! Awesome atmosphere and super clean with friendly staff. Small seating so come at a good time. This is what all breakfast spots should try and be.
Always has been a very good place. I especially enjoy breakfast there. Been eating there for many many years and always good.

Like a rule breakfast place but lot of Carhartts and working people eating in there one or two waitresses and they're not shorthanded highly recommended
You absolutely can't beat Little Chef for breakfast. The best breakfast joint in town. The staff is the most friendliest bunch of people and really make you feel important and not just a table in their restaurant. I absolutely love that they have outdoor seating now in the summertime! You won't regret dining here!
I love this place with my whole heart. Been one of my favorite little places to go to since I was a child. The Dill Pickle soup has a special place in my heart❤️❤️
