Typical bar food and service was mediocre. The only reason I like this place is the small beach area they have and the tiki bar, but food is sub-par. I would rate the food experience and service a 1 star. We had the sampler 12 bone in wings. They were basic fried wings and the parmesan garlic wings needed more garlic and parmesan. The sauce for the habanero and pineapple wings was very light and could have used more sauce. Totally lacking on the amount of sauce and seasoning on all of the wings. We tried the chipotle steak wrap and honestly it was NOT good at all. Just edible, but only because I was really hungry. Steak was very chewy and bland. No flavor at all in the wrap with very soggy lettuce. Coleslaw was bland as well as the tarter sauce for our fried fish. Tarter sauce was literally just mayo. Completely disappointed in the slow service as well. Not coming back for food anytime soon.
On the water, summery vibe. Our meal was good, but not great. A lot went wrong. Biggest concern: Something viscous and grey was attached to our ice in the second rum barrel drink we ordered. We sent it back. No word on what the slimy grey 1/2" worm shaped item fished out of the glass was. We set it on our plate. Server offered to replace the drink. We asked to take it back and take it off the bill. I ordered a special with tots, and got fries. Burger was excellent and the ribs were more bone than other places. Our first server disappeared, and another took over after a long wait so we could order. First server reappeared at the end. Servers wanted this to be fun, and encouraged us to order drinks.
Kief's is a local chain o lakes style boaters bar with a great throwback vibe. Once inside it's pretty clear this place really has a lot going on! From the old school salad bar to the slot machines and what looks like a really good summertime outdoor patio. It's has a buzz that's fun to be a part of.For as busy as it was, the wait staff was very friendly and outgoing, and I felt well attended too.I was most impressed with the homemade bread, something that I completely did not expect! The wings (garlic parmesan and buffalo) were also excellent, and I even enjoyed the salad bar! The beer battered Fried shrimp were good but needed a little "something" in the breading to give it more flavor, and the "potato pancakes" reminded me more of flat disk shaped tater tots, rather than the shredded potato latkes that I was expecting. On my second visit we tried the pizza, fish fry and a burger. The pizza is just okay, I wouldn't order it again, but both the fish fry and burger were excellent, with the burger being the best main menu item I've had here.
I had the jack Daniel's burbon burger. It was excellent, and the staff were outstanding for how busy it was. Will definitely be going back

Been here a couple times now. The beach is awesome in the summer even it's too packed to get food. Now that Summer is over, I've ate there a few times, and the food was very good.
We had a great time playing bingo. Some of the prizes are food and drinks.
We went for the Friday fish fry. We were told to arrive early because it gets busy. Got there at 5 and sat down immediately. Katrina was our server. She was very friendly and attentive, providing great service. The only reason I deducted 1 star was the atmosphere. The dining area was very dark and we actually had to use our phone flashlights to read the menu and see our food. I realize it is a bar but it was SUPER loud in there. BUT, the food was very good, reasonably priced and we had a fine waitress.
Had the ribs... delicious!
