Food was fabulous!!! We tried a couple of different things to eat and everything was great!! First place I've been able to get a Philly steak on a freaking pita in our area!! Drink we got were ok, I'm personally not a fan of fruity drinks but had to give it a try! We will for sure be back!
Dined a couple times now and love everything! The fried calamari, cheese curds, and beer bread are especially good. Whenever friends and I are craving wings, this is our first choice. Love the patio dining as well.
Great place for dinner and drinks or just drinks. Plenty of seating especially since the patio has become a 3 season room. Server was very good always kept the soft drinks full. Had the New York style pizza and it was great. Highly recommend this place.
We ordered the Chicago deep dish vegetable pizza, hands down the best pizza we've experienced in McHenry. Seriously, great crust, plenty of toppings and cooked to perfection. Super easy online ordering and fast delivery. This will be our new go to restaurant. Thank you ?
Super fun. Cute little gem of a place. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but the inside is spacious and much bigger than looks. Very friendly staff. We had Zach as our server and he was Great!! Very personable, attentive and funny. It wouldn't be fair here to not mention his trusty sidekick/coworker Nate. The 2 of them made the experience even more fun. Prices are reasonable and the food tastes fresh. The signature drinks are fabulous. Definitely will be back to this little gem in Crystal lake/McHenry.
Detroit pizza crust (4 stars) was nice for a change from what we normally get at other pizza places. Never had a pizza with no red sauce and just a splash on top. Actually, that was part of what was so nice for a change. Flavorful. Would have again. Other party had a regular burger (3 stars) Their well done Burger had pink inside still when served to the table. Nothing 'extra' special about it said the person who ate it. Now the prices (2 stars, ie.. $12 for mozz sticks??).. I'm not sure if it's typical or if they're higher due to covid. I thought it was a bit on the expensive side especially for a family.
Boneless wings are big and cooked well. Calamari, except for being a little salty, were cooked to perfection. Tough to do. Staff friendly. Atmosphere really good. Easy to talk without shouting over the music or other people.
I came here for the first time with my parents last week.It was very busy, but we were sat in a heated outside patio area which was quiet and comfortable.The service was quick and attentive and the food came out relatively quickly. I ordered a side of sweet chili boneless wings and the Jexel's chicken wrap.The wings were not overly saucy which I liked and actually a decent size for boneless. The wrap was unique having pecans in it, and was a good size, and the avocado spread was really flavorful and mixed well with the chicken and bacon.If your into the bar kind of burgers and wings, I think this place had a nice ambiance, good service and decent food for a 20$ price tag. I would return
Great food amazing staff never disappointed
My wife and I finally tried Jexal's last night. What great place. Our waitress Madi was fantastic. Beer Sticks were awesome and so were the wings. Only issue was some of my wings were a little cold. We let Madi know just FYI and she did not charge us for the cold wings. We will be back.
