Fast & Friendly Service, Great Location & Very Clean, Good Food too
I've recently started going here for many lunch and dinners because of the good food, at really good prices. I normally prefer locally owned places rather than chains, but the value, and quality has put Chilli's into constant consideration every time I want to go out to eat.
I had a group of 4 adults, 3 kids and 2 babies... Called when I was leaving my house and they had the table ready for us when we got there! Chips were good, salsa was a little watery. Menu was nice, but there was, maybe, 1 option for chicken. Would like to try their meal sized salads next time. Ribs were good, meat fell off the bones, sauce was good too! Kids meals were decent sized...Usually my kids are hungry after a kids meal and they were full! Waiter was nice.
Chili's Grill & Bar is great. From the cooks to the wait staff to management, I could not begin to explain how wonderful they are. Tonight's visit on my wife's and I anniversary was great, and for that we left a 20% tip, but not only that we spoke with management about their amazing staff. Chili's in McHenry, IL thank you for such an amazing dining experience!
This place is always busy and stays staffed up when even Jimmy Johns has to close on weekends. Food is constantly good. A little lacking on beer selection at the bar. Free chips and salsa for rewards members.
My favorite restaurant is Chili's.I like the chips and salsa the best!The servers are quick and friendly too!Good price point $$$ and there.is always some to take home, that's what makes going to them the best!
If it weren't for our server, this would have been a 1 star review. Due to the lack of employees working these days, I get it. But if you are going to serve food, I am sure like most other people you would like it hot. Last time I checked, I was under the assumption that chili should be hot. I sent it back. Got another one, it wasn't much hotter. To put into prospective, the cheese that comes on it wasn't melting even when mixed in. Both times this happened.Food came out, and guess what the fries are ice cold. I didn't even bother sending it back as the horror stories of what happens in the kitchen when stuff comes back is not appetizing. Not saying that stuff happens in this restaurant, just saying I am sure it happens.Our sever was the only thing that is saving this review. In no way shape or form was this his fault, in fact we made sure to tip him well. I wish I could remember his name, the only thing that I remember is that he has been with this Chilis for about 2 years.
Picked up chicken crisper dinner to go today. Service was excellent. The food was a huge let down. Seems like the amount of chicken and fries has been reduced significantly. Also the corn was really mushy and had a weird taste. I've never been this disappointed with chili's food. ?
They were a little short staffed which showed when it came down to how long it took to get our food and the server forgetting to bring it things. Overall it was a good experience and the food was delicious as usual.
