This is our favorite pizza restaurant in Southern Illinois. They have the best crust with plenty of toppings on it.
Tasted like a frozen pizza served on a heated up piece of cardboard
Ordered baked spaghetti, a super sub and a large pizza. The spaghetti was absolutely tasteless, sauce was like watered down tomatoe sauce. The sub , lunch meat with lettuce, tomato on a toasted bun, the pizza ,thin crust with burnt edges. Should have known with only three cars in the lot.
My husband and I ordered a thin crust pizza and a side salad.The side salad was basically shredded iceberg lettuce from a bag with a few mushy tomatoes. The salad dressing came in a packet that was thrown on top of the salad. The thin crust pizza we ordered was burnt around the edges and didn’t seem to have any sauce on it and A very sparse Amount of ingredients . I’m not one to write negative reviews but I felt this one was Necessary.
Our pizza was good however service was lacking. Reservations were called in before noon but upon arrival, we were told there were none made by manager John. He rudely reacted to our group of 20 that our presence was nothing more than an aggravation. No apologies, no attempt at trying to accomodate.... refused to allow our party to sit in the (empty) area that was told would be available on the phone. (The restaurant was empty with the exception of a group party in the party room and two other tables in the main dining area.) I guess they had all the business they cared to have... Point well taken....
The dinner salad was just iceberg lettuces,mushy tomatoes and they laid the salad dressing packet on top of the lettuce which is not very sanitary protocol in this time period of COVID. The pizza was very expensive for what we got. The pizza was burned, with no sauce and hardly and toppings on it. Do not waste your time ore money!!!!!
Excellent service and food. However we were charged more on bill than menu price and were told. ‘The menus are old’ and no refund. Very impersonal. Management needs to get it together! Ruined the experience for us.
Food was great. Service was as good as it could be. I understand when you can't get help. But I appreciate y'all just being open!!! Thank you very much
