Great food, great service! Portions were huge! If you leave hungry it’s your own fault! Our waiter noticed my husbands patch on his vest (we rode the bike up) and gave him the military discount and thanked him for his service! 5/5 stars!!
Just only ok. They didn’t have pork rinds because they were chewy?
We are originally from Du Quoin but now live in FL. On 8 June 2022 we purchased our BBQ from the takeout window after calling it in. We got a rack oh baby back ribs, brisket, cole slaw & potato salad. The slaw and potato salad were good, the rest was a waste of money. The ribs were tough, dry & seemed to be left over from the day before-maybe it was our out of state area code that prompted this. The brisket we got was so tough a steak was needed to cut it. Needless to say we will NEVER return. We have always looked forward to eating your food on our treks home but this was the last time you will see us. Byford Hall Gainesville, FL
Nice place, nice bar, sweet waitress. Had the Ruben, just not real good. The meat was tough and a bit cool, and certainly not 'marinated' like they advertised. $3.75 per side, and that's for a small portion. That's not to say it was bad, but at their prices, things have to be over-the-top. Put it this way... Dickey's is better food and WAY better value.
The meal was fine but when we got the bill for 2 people that had a rack of ribs with bake beans and coleslaw and the wife had pork streak with mac and cheese and a bake potato with us both having ice tea. We had a order of onion straws as a apitizier. When we got the bill it was over $75.00. We noticed on the bill that all the sides were charges individually. Rediculous. All I have to say to the owner "Amy" you had better wake to the fact that there are several restaurants that serve barbecue in Marion such as Texas Roadhouse and O Charleys that don't charge for the sides that with there meals.. Won't be back.

On site for well over an hour, haven't seen any food yet. At this point I'm sitting here wishing I had made different plans for the night, wishing I hadn't ordered those two beers, at least then I could slip out and hot a fast food joint and call it a night. Instead I'm sitting here wondering if everyone in the the kitchen is dead . Can't wait to get the heck out of here. Don't care if the food is any good, I just want to leave. PS the food wasn't anything to brag about, it was edible, but so is McDonald's.
Loved it. Great tasting ribs, awesome pulled pork. Bodacious brisket ? sandwiches are ON POINT - the BAKED Beans are the best I've had In 20 years. They also have hot fried crackilns pork rinds and fried pickles to. Nice atmosphere great servers.
