Hostess and bartender were great. Waiter was so-so. The table next to us were most likely regular clients as they received most of his attention. We waited aloooong time to order, get refills, etc. But we were right next to the favorite table. Food was good but nothing special. I feel like I could've prepared a better tasting meal at home. The salad and dessert (peanut butter chocolate cake) were the best parts. The meal was good, just nothing special-salmon with linguine tossed with basil(2 pieces) but needed spices. I was looking for more is an Italian flair. I don't know if I'd go back.
beautiful atmosphere very kind staff and owner. The restaurant is very clean and nice inside and the food is AMAZING. look forward to going back as well as throwing our engagement party there this summer!
Had a anniversary dinner there, that included the entire family. The owner came over to the table and congratulated us on our anniversary and provided a gratus dessert with happy anniversary inscribed in Italian. First class operation!
Outstanding!!!! The Pomodoro has been recommended to me by several people so it was time to check it out. I had a cheeseburger with fries. I know, at an Italian restaurant. But i wanted to see how it would stack up. The burger was perfect. Honestly the best burger I've had in Rockford. The fries were done to perfection. Definitely going back and I recommend you do as well.
Great atmosphere!! Food was fabulous!! I had the Tomahawk Pork chop. Cooked perfectly. Samantha was our waitress and she was outstanding!!????? Very attentive. All around GREAT experience! Highly recommend!

The Pomodoro is our go to for date night! Great food and service! A few months back we had friends visiting and one of the friends inquired about an item she had seen on the website because it looked so delicious. The waitress had the owner (I don’t remember her name!) come over and she explained they didn’t currently have that item on the menu but offered to try to replicate it as closely as they could since they did not have the exact meat. Not only did they recreate the menu item for us but the owner also came by to make sure it was everything she had hoped it would be, which it was!
Great food, reasonable prices, friendly and helpful staff. Salmon was a little overcooked, brought out a brand new one very quickly and were very apologetic. Blue cheese crusted filet was unbelievable!

Love the atmosphere of this place. It is nicely appointed. Staff is very friendly and attentive. The food was just as amazing. The meatball melts in your mouth. The pomodoro sauce is so rich and delicious. The pizza was also very delicious. If your looking for an authentic place with amazing food, this is the place!
