I was very disappointed during my visit today. Our shakes had whip cream but it was tiny little circle on there and it must have been the end of bottle because it didn’t taste great. Also , our burgers would have been better if the buns had been toasted. I love Beef-A-Roo but today it was a disappointment.
Terrible. I went through the drive through put in my order. The lady who took my order heard me say my order because she asked about what sauce I had wanted. I go pay leave and get ready to eat and she had knowingly not given me my food. This is not the first time this beefaroo has ruined my order by getting things wrong. I would recommend every other fast food place in the area besides this beefaroo. extremely disappointed.

Incredibly dry roast beef sandwich. The beef was actually crunchy around the edges. It tasted like it had been under a heat lamp for eight hours. I threw half of it away.
Ran thru the drive thru abit before 2 for a late lunch. The once reliable Beef-A-Roo roast beef sandwich is sadly not so reliable...This is the second time visiting, when in Rockford, that it has been basically inedible!The entire sandwich was very very very dry, like it had been made and sitting under a heat lamp since before noon. The roast beef was so dried out it was crunchy!!??3 weeks ago it was dry, but barely edible. Today we ate a couple of bites and had to toss... hard to swallow and choking!If you use the drive thru, pull over and check your order before you pull away!Unfortunately, our review has to be adjusted to 1 star from the previous 4 stars!
While I think beef a roo has decent sides and shakes. I think the main items (burgers, beefs and chicken) are over priced for the quality. It's like local Arby's. I won't be back
Good food, just learned I have to check the bags before I leave the drive-thru. Too many times have things been missing or wrong.
Beefaroo is not what it used to be. Bought a cheeseburger, buffalo chicken sandwich, 2 beef n cheese sandwiches, and 4 shakes. Total=$50.79. They charged an extra $.20 for a tomato slice and an extra $.50 per beef n cheese sandwiches for “cheddar”-the liquid cheese. The quality is not as good as it used to be. The old Cheddar Fries are now called cheese fries because they aren’t as good as they used to be. I grew up in Rockford enjoying Beefaroo but now I’m not going there again.
I think this place is high priced! I don't come here often I love the pork tenderloin and the cheese fries and the onion rings but my food wasn't really hot even though I had to wait and I'm one that likes my food hot.
