Never fails to be delicious. Stopped at backyard bar and grill for a birthday. Was met with a dirty restaurant and dirty dishes brought to our table. And a rude employee when our problems were brought to his attention. Hopped up the road to this gem. Fun, friendly, and delicious food at the right price. Boycott Backyard Bar n Grill. Beefaroo is better
I want to Beef 'A' Roo Northwoods location. I hadn't been inside since 2019. They remodeled it and they took down the big Moosehead on the wall, I was disappointed.
The Roast Beef is pretty good accompanied by some good old cheddar fries and a soda too ..
I got a double bacon cheeseburger and onion rings in a Diet Coke and my wife got pork tenderloin and a strawberry milkshake with a cherry on top it was very good
Beef-A-Roo has always been my favorite place to get a great burger and cheese fries. Every location has it's own unique atmosphere. No cookie cutter buildings for Beef-A-Roo , just great food.
Great food and Excellent service. The Fire Department theme is fun and historical. They have both local and some general fire history on display.Crowds varies like all restaurants.Being in Illinois Masks are required when moving around within the restaurant at this timeDine In, Carry out or Drive thru service.
Great food, went at lunch time and it was super busy so there was quite a bit of a wait but understandable with how busy it was.
Once 5 stars for service, food, cost, operating hours and so on. They have faltered in every category.
It's a great place with wonderful food we have all enjoyed for decades. Why 4 stars? Well, the salt was a thing of legend. However, they have now changed it to be much less than it was before. Not sure if that was a cost savings or sometone fixing something that wasn't broken. So, 4 stars because they had 5 and decided to forfeit one. We used to buy the salt for home, since we don't live near a location. Now we wouldn't take it if it was free.
Chicken tenders were good but my sweet potato fries were overcooked and dark which took away from how yummy they should be. I'm not a french fry fan but when I tried them, they were delicious! They were thin, crispy and salty and super! I will order them next time!
