This is a weird review to write. If I was only evaluating the food and the value, this would be a 5-star review. Everything was delicious and, while things weren't inexpensive, they were priced reasonably for the quality.Everything negative about this experience comes down to service. I've been treated with greater care and attention at a Taco Bell. Our entire meal of entrees and dessert took north of 2 hours and throughout that time, my glass was refilled twice. I had to request both times. Our fajitas were brought out without tortillas and cooled significantly before I was able to get anyone's attention.Throughout the meal, our waiter seemed largely unconcerned about anything that was happening at our table.I'd say this is a place worth eating from but maybe consider ordering your food to go. You'll receive a similar level of service in your family room, even if you live alone.
We had lunch for three and ordered chicken enchiladas and beef barbacoa and everything was good. The best part is our waiter Ramon. He was so good, attentive to our needs and helped one of our friends to break the pinata, which was the highlights of our lunch. Thank you Ramon for being so kind and enthusiastic.
They do have very good Mexican food. During covid they stopped serving fish tacos. That was disappointing to me although understandable. I think it is back on the menu now.Overall I do like this place. They have the BEST tortilla chips.
The service wasn’t great here. Our food took very long and so did the desert. Our waiter didn’t seem to be able to explain why our food was taking so long. Maybe he was new I’m not sure. As far as the food taste it was very bland and not authentic Mexican tasting food. Nothing special about the food at all. I ordered the fish tacos and they were not good at all just bland and no flavor. The dessert we got was the piñata which that was good and the fruit was fresh which is why I gave it another star but for me this place is a waste of your money. It’s a shame because with a a few changes to the menu this place could be a whole lot more!!!
Overpriced and Underwhelming. Fajitas cut too thick and with the grain. Rice nuked and dry. Server polite but inadequately trained and struggled to remain efficient. The stars were for the guacamole. It was tasty but needed a wedge of lime. Hostess less than welcoming. All this on a slow day. ?
Stopped by Uncle Julio for lunch today with my coworkers. Excellent customer service. The food was fast and super delicious. I love their warm and crispy chips and salsa. Soft taco meal was huge portion meal and only costs $12.00. Amazing! Highly recommended and will definitely return soon.
Absolutely terrible service, food is average and way too overpriced for what it is. Hostess was engulfed in her phone and couldn’t bother to greet us as we walked in or as we left. Our waitress came and gave us menus after we sat at our table for 15 minutes. She then took half an hour to get our drinks. Total of 45 mins to even get our order in. Food eventually came out and was lukewarm in temperature. Waitress also screwed up our food as well. It was at this point, after being called to our table for the third time, the manager noticed and made sure we got our correct food. However he was not very apologetic and did not offer any discounts or anything. Not like we wanted one but would’ve been nice to try and compensate for the terrible service. After two hours we finally left and we will not be coming back again. I would like to say this was just a bad experience but we’ve come here a few times before with the same experience. We’ve given this place several chances and now we know that this place just simply doesn’t care about their customers.
Went for my bday and the server we got seem to be in a hurry in everything. Then my husband had asked him for the bday piñata and he brought us churros, then my husband asked for the chocolate piñata he seemed to have gotten bothered. I don’t know is he was having a bad day but service wasn’t great like usually. The food was good!
Have always liked Uncle Julio's. They have wonderful tortilla chips that are made on site. (Right picture). Good dipping sauces and cheese dips. We had fish tacos, which are very good, and taco bowls (left picture) with either chicken or steak.
I am utterly disappointed in this restaurant. I thought thus would be a great place to celebrate my husband, our children and my sister in laws birthdays. My party of 13 was ignored by our waiter, it took a long time to get drinks and I had to get the straws myself. Once we ordered our food it took more than an hour to get it. I ordered seasoned shrimp fajitas I believe the price was $22.50 and the shrimp they gave me were salad shrimp they were so small the tomatoes in the guacamole was bigger. They food was terrible the lack of service were worse. In the midst of a pandemic you would think a restaurant would be happy that people wanted to come eat and enjoy themselves but not Uncle Julios the waiter took advantage of the automatic tip by not serving us. I will never be back to ANY Uncle Julios because of this. I do not recommend anyone go to this restaurant.Your sorry apology means nothing compared to the way my party and I was treated. If you wanted to actually make it right you would refund the check for the entire table...but I'm sure Uncle Julios is not that sorry, another reason why the 13 of us will not be back
