This was my first time at the drive through in Lake Zurich. The customer service was lacking. The boy working the window was very curt and condescending. I won’t use each example, just one. I ordered my coffee, first time ever ordering coffee via Panera drive through. After I ordered, I asked if he could provide cream and sugar and his response to me was “Do you want cream and sugar?” I said yes I do (didn’t I just say that? I thought). His response was “then I’ll add cream and sugar.” His tone, it’s all about tone, was demeaning and snarky. That is just one example of my entire experience. Needless to say, I don’t think that boy should be working the window or have any interaction with people. My visit was on 6/4/22 between 10:15-10:30 am just in case management actually reads these. I say that because I tried to call at least 10 times and no one answered. Unbelievable. Will not visit again for sure.

My family and I came here for Mother’s Day and we had the worst experience. First of all, the cashier needed better training as she was not knowledgeable. As we went to sit down, I noticed crumbs ALL OVER the floor, dirty cups on tables and the overflowing garbage. We complained to the manager which did nothing about it. He had the same person at the register clean the tables, with her bare hands, without gloves. How disgusting. No one came and vacuumed or had a care in the world of how the cafe looked. When we got our food, 2 out of the 3 bread sides looked like the middle part was taken out. When I went to ask for more bread, I did not get an apology. The person behind the counter said “I don’t know, I don’t make the bread.” I was very disappointed in my experience and will not be coming back. I do not recommend this location, poor management, extremely unprofessional and unsanitary.

Two cars in front of me in the drive through and I waited over FORTY minutes.When I finally got up to the window the girl was cool as a cucumber. No hurry, no effort, she couldn't be bothered.The worst part is that my order tasted like it was sitting there for forty minutes. All the ice in my drink had melted, terrible.This was my first time at this Panera and definitely my last. Don't come here.

I am giving this place a 1 star their drive thru only had 3 cars in front of me and took about 30 minutes for me to get to the window when i got to the window the i asked the employee if it could be quick since it was very late for me and she said the other car had a lot of food i told her i understand while she was giving me an attitude then i asked for her name nicely and she shut the window on me then i was done dealing with it so i much rather drive to the panera in palatine to get good customer service.

Understandably they would be out of bread bowls but tried calling several times before coming out to be hung up on and to arrive moments later and Restaurant is dead and staffed more than adequately to handle current customer load.Then for the front cashier not to know anything about items on menu????? Really. Now I sit here waiting for my food and listen to the cooks complain oh great another costumer just walked in it just what we need another online order!!Safe to say this store needs some leadership and at least some pride.And yes, you should embrace it, it’s your job!

1. Only one self-service point.2. Dishes are plastic, even if dining in.3. Food serving is worse.I would prefer another Panera place.

They are extremely slow when it comes to drive thru. I tried it multiple times and it's always at least 15 min wait even if you are the first in line (obviously for the orders that contain meal not just drinks). But I can definitely recommend it if you need to work remotely. Nice table setup, power outlets available, free stable wifi and it seems that they give priority to the inside customers so you don't have to wait that long.

Difficult location to access unless you’re headed the right direction but they are one of the few locations that don’t seem to be out of what I want when I go. The young man taking orders at the register is quick and efficient.

I wish this location answered the phone because Michelle was working the drive thru this morning and she is the sweetest person. They made my drink wrong which is 100% not a big deal and she kept apologizing, offered to remake it and when I told her it was okay.. she asked if I wanted the wrong one plus the right drink. She was so sweet and tried to make it right despite me telling her it was okay.

They ran out of butter. How does a bakery run out of butter lol. This Panera is a joke
