Decent restaurant with intimate seating and fast kitchen service. Had a chicken burrito with rice & beans. The chicken burrito meal was made in less than 5 minutes.Unfortunately the meal seemed pretty watery overall. You can find all the ingredients in there, I even had some cheese pull when I bit in. They have their green & red salsa in squirt bottles, neither of which are that flavorful. The red salsa has a fair amount of spice, but you can tell that it's deliberately spicy by the lack of other tastes in there. (I think mine was in the freezer, there was a hint of staleness to the spice). For the spice level, you can kind squeeze in about a condiments size (mustard on a hot dog, ketchup by fries) of red salsa before tasting the heat.I don't think I would have minded if I had a green soup there but that would have been ridiculous. La Parroquia gets the stomach filled up for a quick lunch.
Great food! Interesting experience.Arrived early to get a bar seat. Started thinking we would leave after one drink but then things picked up.Definitely not your normal dining experience but you have to try their food.We shared shrimp ceviche as a taste test. Generous portion. Really nice fresh flavors. Looking forward to our next visit.Wish the bar was more fully stocked but found adult beverages we enjoyed. The place was packed by the time we left. Overall 3 stars but expect higher when we dive deeper into their menu. Can’t wait. You shouldn’t either.
Fabulous little gem of a restaurant. I'd never been there or even heard of it until Saturday May 7, 2022. The salsa is superb. I had steak enchiladas, which were excellent and my friends had burritos, which they also liked. I absolutely recommend eating here. They also do breakfast and I'm going to go there early someday and try the breakfast menu.
Can’t believe they’re still in business after all the employees they have robbed, including myself ! Work you like a dog , then when the large paycheck with tips including comes, they’ll find a petty reason to fire them and make up a story about how we walked away from the job and they keep paycheck & tips & never call you back or respond to messages!! SMH very disappointed as I grew real close to the kids while working there & actually liked it
They are Not friendly at all and food is way too salty and greasy! Chiles rellenos are not even peel
We had lunch here. The tacos were amazing. Lots of flavor.
Service can be a little slow, but this place is awesome. I heard that they came across hard times with the pandemic, and if they had to sacrifice anywhere, they certainly didn’t with the quality of the food. Kudos. I hope they are around for many years to come because this is now one of my favorite restaurants in the area!
I hate leaving bad reviews but after dining here, my boyfriend and I both had gotten food poisoning. I had one of the salads with chicken ( which was good!) and he had the fajitas. When they brought his food out, they were not sizzling at all, which was weird. I went through some of the other reviews and noticed someone else the same encounter. We will not be back after that experience.
Best authentic Mexican cuisine around. Staff is fantastic friendly and very timely. Food is GREAT! New Go-to spot hands down.
This place has the best steak tacos in the area! The meat is very lean, and tastes delicious. I hate having to pick fat out of tacos, which I do at most every other Mex restaurant. ? The tacos here had zero fat to pick out, and each bite was yummy! Everyone in my group was happy with their meal. I think the man who waited on us was the owner, and he was a very nice. I highly recommend this place.
