Came here last night with my boyfriend - we ordered the quesabirrias, four skirt-steak tacos, and guac (since the reviews for the guac were really good). He said the quesabirrias were some of the best he's ever had - I tried them too and they were amazing!! The guacamole also lived up to the expectations. My steak tacos were so flavorful and as were the salsas - and the woman who helped us, who I think may be the owner, was very pleasant. All around great experience.We live pretty far away from it, so I don't know when we'll be back, but I'm looking forward to our next visit! ?
I have mixed emotions about this one. The service was not very friendly, it's really quite pricey for what you get, and the food was just "okay".The red pork tamale was large, and was better than the steak quesadilla.However, they do have housemade tortillas (both flour and corn) which normally would give this place enormous potential for greatness, BUT instead they only offer them on a few limited menu items (?! WTH ?!).Oh so close, yet still so far.
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!When you dine in you are given fantastic salsa and fantastic guacamole, since everything is homemade it makes it even better.Had the skirt steak burrito here and it was well worth it. Looking forward to trying the chicken & regular steak to figure out which one I prefer. 10/10 imo.
We just slammed our amazing dinner. We grabbed take out. Everything was delicious and the team is so kind! The burrito was so filling and the tacos were fresh. Yum!!!! Can’t wait to go back.
The best Mexican food I've ever tried! I've tried all the vegetarian options and can't say enough about them. My fiance has tried a good amount of their chicken and pork options, and my parents have tried almost everything and they love it. I was born in Mexico and my parents are also Mexican and this is great authentic Mexican food. My fiance is not Mexican and it is his favorite restaurant in Lake Zurich.
Owner Esperanza and her family have created the best little Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. High quality, authentic flavors. Dishes you can’t find elsewhere. My family and I are new regulars! Great service by daughter Cynthia!

I just ordered via door dash a half hour before close. I took a risk thinking it wasn’t going to be as yummy as it is in the actual restaurant. But our dinner was absolutely delicious!
Best burrito (hay chihuahua burrito) we’ve ever had! Also the birria taco was amazing too. Very friendly family-owned staff.
Now that we've tried the food here, we won't be going anywhere else. Absolutely delicious! I had the rancheros tacos and my husband had the birria which is a must try!
