First visit here though the establishment has been here for a couple of years. It was ok. Ordered online and arrived at the exact time they said my order would be ready for carryout. Most of my order was ready and on the counter, however an ice cream concrete and a chocolate shake were yet to be made. I literally had to asked them to make them. My house is 2 minutes from this place but by the time I got home, everything was cold because I had to wait about 7 minutes for the cold parts of my order. Burger was ok. I can see why they only sell doubles or triples. If they sold singles, the sandwich would be overwhelmed by bread because the burger patties are razor thin. Hot dog was good but their novelty style bun assures that any toppings you got that aren't mustard will fall off. Shoe string fries were good but being cold detracted greatly. Not sure I'll go back. My wife was MUCH less impressed.
We love Freddie's! The burgers and cheese fries are great. The staff is always friendly but the small drink cup that was about four inches tall was a surprise. I asked the employee if it was a kiddie drink but he said no. I think he was new and needs to be trained better.
One of my favorite fast serve restaurants in the area. Staff are always friendly and pretty quick. Similar variety to Steak’nShake, arguably better though.There’s also an app/online ordering, which is nice for larger orders.If you go, definitely try the fry sauce with fries (or curds). Frozen custard is an obvious choice too.
Service was okay no one seemed happy to be there food was really good. Not a big fan of shoestring fries but they were good
We love Freddy's! Our southern friends turned us on to the chain while visiting Memphis and we were so happy we had one "nearby"! We drive 20min to get some Freddy's! Can't go wrong with anything on the menu, and food comes out quick!
This is the first time we have tried Freddy's. We pulled into town late at night, tired and hungry, and Freddy's was one of the only dining options still open near our hotel (10:30pm on a Saturday night). So we gave it a try. We ordered in the drive-through. We ordered 3 combo meals with California burgers, and our daughter got a vanilla milkshake. Everything was hot and delicious! And the staff was super nice. Thank you for a good late-night dining experience.
We were happily surprised to see a Freddy's in Illinois, as we know the chain from Texas. Their burgers are cooked to order and their fries are thin and crispy, seasoned with salt n pepper.The staff was upbeat, and seemed to actually like their job. The restaurant and restroom were clean. There were only a few people inside, more business seemed to be from the drive-thru. The music was a bit loud, so if the dining room was full of chatter, I imagine that it could get quite loud.The double cheeseburger was good. The Patty Melt was flavorful with grilled onions, melted cheese and well toasted rye bread. The large order of cheese fries was a huge portion. Two adults barely ate half the order with the burgers. The fries were great, hot, crisp, seasoned well and lots of cheese.We will definitely stop by again while in the area. Thanks for a great experience!
I stumbled across Freddy's ( I never heard of it) and decided to give it a try! I ordered the A1 steak sandwich and omg! Best steak sandwich I've ever had! The shoe string fries with the dipping sauce is a great touch. I normally don't right reviews for fast food, but this place is so awesome I had to share my experience!
I wanted a small milk shake (priced $3.69). I ordered the same shake I get everywhere- strawberry w a squirt of chocolate syrup. The kid took my order without telling me it would be 99 cents extra for the chocolate. I was surprised at how expensive my small shake turned out to be. The cashier just laughed at me when I told her no other restaurant charges extra like that. I should have just refused the shake and driven off because it was pretty bad. I didn't like it at all. Definitely not worth what I paid for it.
The signature steakburger was amazing incredible flavor and cooked perfectly. The custard was so creamy and it tasted amazing best custard of my life!!! Incredible experience definitely would come back. Management was so kind!
