Just left this location. My husband and I went through the drive threw and ordered two shakes. One Strawberry and one Peanut Butter. The man asked if we wanted whipped cream and we said no for both. We got to the window to pay and the girl repeated back "Two Shakes" and we said, "Yep". Pulled away and then realized that one was Chocolate, both also had whipped cream, but not a huge deal except that I had been craving a strawberry shake for the entire day so my husband went to the window to get our order corrected and the man who took our order literally cursed at my husband and told him he was lying. We all understand it could have been a simple mistake, easily corrected with a quick sorry and a corrected order. I would have even left a great review, but there is literally no excuse for a grown man to be yelling at another grown man over a freaking ice cream shake. Come on!!!! Take a breath, apologize and correct the order. We've all been in customer service and understand things happen, but this was deplorable behavior. I feel so sorry for the girls who work there who seemed to be afraid of him. No woman should feel physically afraid of their coworker.
I really wanted a blizzard from Dairy Queen so my boyfriend took me to this one. He was tapping on the outside of his car and was just waiting for someone to respond at the drive thru. There was a man that came on the headset and yelled at us saying “stop banging on your car we will be there in a second”. We were so confused and decided to not order from here. Very disappointed, I hope the people who work here learn what good customer service is.
I've gotten ice cream here before and it's been good. But I wanted to take the time to make a review and thank them again for the awesome job they did decorating a cake for my dad's birthday. I dont if everyone is on dqs frozen cakes but they're amazing. Plus they can decorate it on the spot. Which they did a great job on my dad's cake. My family always last minute on parties so dq has saved me a quite a few times.
i’ve never had a problem with this location, i’ve actually been going to this one for almost 11 years now (previously at his other building a small walk away). the owner is nothing but kind, and from what i’ve seen the customers are so rude to him and all the other workers. the ice cream is always good, it’s a nice treat to get every once in awhile, no matter the time of year
I tried to stop by this location last night and they were closed even though they’re open light was lit up but the lights were off. I called the corporate office and the corporate office said that there’s no reason they should be closed but they should be open. I just called this location today and they told me that they were closed because it was Halloween and that is the one day they take off other than Christmas. But it makes more sense to take off Christmas and Thanksgiving not on Halloween. And their corporate office told me that they do not close on Halloween so they went against corporate rules.
I’ve never reviewed a food establishment before but the service my kids and I received from 3 grown men at this DQ was embarrassing. They were so rude and trying to rush everyone and then acted as though I was lying when they forgot something in my order. It should have been a simple “ sorry I didn’t hear you on the speaker” but it was instead now you are holding up our line and “ apparently “ you ordered and I didn’t hear you. It was just a gross experience.
Rip off smallest hot fudge Sunday for $3.75. Miniscule amount of hot fudge. If you want pecans 69 cents more, nuts 40 cents whip cream 60 cents more. None of the extras prices are on the menu. I had to ask price of each item.
We live close, and frequent this DQ a lot. Recently, my 13 and 11 year old sons ordered at the window, and the owner called my son stupid for reading the menu wrong. In the middle of a summer weekday, when the store was not busy. Yes, he actually used the word stupid. I find this very inappropriate for any paying customer. Especially a child. I am extremely disappointed in this unprofessional behavior, especially from the owner.
Owner is AMAZING. he will walk out your order if you are behind a car with a large order! This is the best dq I've been to so far!
Long story short, I asked what was the smallest blizzard they had. Lady responded with "size small."I ordered a few small blizzards for our 2 year Olds. My stepdaughter told me they have "mini" blizzards (which would've been perfect). Before I paid, I asked the lady if they sold "mini blizzards." She said yes. I told her that I had asked for the smallest ones they had.Her response was , (and I quote) "well, I don't know, I didnt take your order" and shut the window (with my card) and proceeded to pay for what was "ordered." She didn't tip the blizzards upside down like she was suppose to, mind you, this was my kid's 1st time ever at a Dairy Queen and just wanted them to have the Whole experience, otherwise I wouldn't have felt like it was a big deal.
