Disgusting. Why? Floors were sticky enough to pull my shoes off, ALL the tables were dirty and looked like they hadn't been wiped down, kitchen had stuff all over, they were touching food, payments and surfaces without changing gloves, and the I'm assuming manager (older lady with a couple extra pounds) was verbally berating the young lady running the counter AND drive through while she stood there. Way to ruin a Midwest favorite. Don't be surprised if they get hit by the health department.
Whatever little girl was working the drive through at 11 pm on July 15th was a total b**** I was being so nice and she had the nastiest attitude. The sign says breakfast all day long so I ask for a breakfast sandwich she says no we don’t do that. So I said what she sign says and she just say no again I’m the nastiest attitude. I’ve had some bad/rude customer service but nobody ever has been as terrible as this girl, she’s lucky she didn’t have a name tag because she wouldn’t give me her name when I asked for it
Unfortunately this location of White Castle is the closest to my work place and white castle normally happens to be one of my favorite foods lol . I am not leaving 1 star as a result of one visit . At this location, they never ever failed to provide a poor customer service. No hi , bye or thank you ever heard from any of their employees. They almost throw the food out from at the drive up window , what an amazing way to thank for our business.
Had a drive thru order. First there was no screen on order menus to verify order. My order was $39 so we obviously ordered a lot.Get all the way home to find out that the 6 double cheeseburgers we ordered came to be just hamburgers. WHAT A LET DOWN!!!!!It’s not that hard to listen and take a order. Very disappointed in this location. And not the first bad experience there.
Love White Castle but not this particular one. Went there at 7:30 pm and was told that they were closed. I think there was only one employee there. Seems like they have a lot of staffing issues.
drive thru person was extremely rude, poor service, and not customer friendly.
I’m posting this review because I have stopped at this White Castle 3 different times after 10pm on the weekend and they are always “closed”. There is no signage stating they close before 3am. The lights are on and when you pull past the side of the building you can see people making food. This needs to be corrected. I’m no longer going to this location. I’ll drive an extra 10 minutes to Joliet from now on if I want White Castle.
Make sure your order is in the bag. Under age kid said it was all in there but when I hot home I was missing my crispy chicken. Big disappointment.
Worst location ever and deserves to be closed for good. Filthy, run down, and they make up their own hours. I had a manager and employee literally crouching behind counters and equipment hiding from me and refusing to acknowledge my existence even though it was more than half an hour before close and I had an online order that I placed 20 minutes prior to arriving. And it's not the first time they've pulled this stunt either. Stay far away from this dumpster fire.
I wouldnt be surprised if this white castle goes out of business very soon. Im not sure how they are still managing. The wait time is always extremely long and staff seems like they absolutely hate their job. I love white castle but not enough to come back time after time for the same experience. If you plan on going here make sure you have about 30 to 40 mins to spare
