Sliders were sliders as always. Service was non-existant and the coke machine in the lobby had a clifged drain and was lretty much empty.
Went through the drive through because the entrance doors were locked. Went fairly fast. Ordered a crave case, chicken rings and fries. Typical white castle food.
Sliders sre sliders....what can be said. The service here was almost non-existent. Coke machine empty and drain clogged. It was leaking on the floor. No one asked take our order, so we had to ask to order. Just really bad service!!!
They always make great sliders. If you want an egg and cheese on a slider bun with no meat, make sure you specifically ask for no meat. But if you do get the wrong sandwich they're really good about fixing and getting you the right sandwich, even if it's a week later. If the line's long, it usually moves pretty fast. so just be patient. they are worth it!
I wish I could give it negative stars. I went through the drive thru on 7/10/2020. I ordered a number 1. It took 10 minutes to get to the window. Understandable. Then the young woman took my money, stood there for 10 minutes, clocked out, got herself a pop and left. 5 minutes later a man sauntered over to the window and asked for my money. I said I paid, he rolled his eyes and then stood by the pop machine for 5 minutes. Then he slowly walked in the back. 8 minutes later another gentleman slowly made his way to the window and handed me my food with a look of disgust on his face. Didn’t say a word. The food was so horrible I ate a half a slider and threw the rest out. The sliders were wet!!! Did they spit in them? It was the worst experience at any fast food restaurant
I specifically asked for HOT fries. I don't care if you hv to dip them back in the hot grease, but it's sad that you hv to pay for terrible service. For now om I will eat a fry b4 pulling off. Lord help our world!
This is a good white castle but has two major flaws:1. 50% of the time, the food is made hastily and the buns are way too soggy. I understand the steamed bun, but there are times where it's straight up wet.2. This location is shown as a 24hour location. However, there have been at least 6 times when I pulled up at 2 or 3am, employees are there, lights are on, and someone at the drive thru says "I'm sorry, we're not taking orders right now.No reason given. Basically just "get lost, we aren't making food". Not sure if it's lazy employees or inventory, but I never get a reason so.....I go here when I have no other choice. I have chosen the Checkers next door at times just to avoid the wet food or the disappointment of them not taking orders arbitrarily.
I grew up in Minnesota with White Castles. Left age 60. Now here in Joliet there is a White Castle so stopped in on my own and got 3 hamburgers. They were BETTER than I remember. Mmmmmmm
Saturday evening. Drive up busy. 2 Double Jalapeno Cheese Burgers. I'm loving it. Delicious.
Service was completely horrible. Stood at the door to find out the inside dinner was closed. No sign on the door and no one would pick up the phone. Went thru drive thru and to go was available. Person at window had no desire to be at worked and it showed in everything they did. Was made to feel like a total inconvenience.
