Glad I found this place. I moved from Chicago to Joliet and haven't found a good Authentic Mexican restaurant till now. Been wanting a Tampiqueña for a long time, found this place and they had it there. When I tell you it does NOT disappoint you, man, their dishes are phenomenal. Tampiqueña is so darn good!!! If you like chorizo, their Chorizo enchiladas are amazing too! Their "Molcajete" dish is the bomb as well. But their Mango frozen Margaritas are ?, AMAZING! We got the large one and it was way more than enough for 1 person. Kids ordered chicken nuggets and another one ordered a Carne asada taco and they were both happy with their food. They give you a complimentary soup with your dish order and it's so darn good. Been going at least once a week and never disappoints. We've been having a waitress named Ana and she is wonderful. Very nice personality and recommended us great dishes all the time. Love her energy. She makes us feel super comfortable. We will continue to go back. Definitely recommend this place. Been taking all our friends and so far they all have loved their food and drinks.

Great food! The steak he buys for burritos and fajitas is like no other. It’s top sirloin not little square chunks of Burt beef. I would not get a burrito any other place in town!
Restaurant is always clean and employees super helpful. Went for the Tues Tacos but changed my mind and had a full meal. Strawberry margarita was very good had the medium size one.
Everything about this place was okay. Needed a place to eat after the movies and there wasn’t many options open. Choose to stop here based on the good reviews, but won’t be coming back.
They charged me $1.95 for chips. And $1.95 for a spoonful of pico. Don’t nickel and dime your customers. I ordered cheese dip. Doesn’t come with chips? I was a loyal customer. I will not be back.
Not sure on all the good ratings people gave for Loco.. ours visit was not good.With less than 6 customers that day food took 40min to table. Chips served were stake. Enchiladas felt just wrapped tortilla , Rice was uncooked and hard as though leftover from fridge microwaved too long. The only good part was the $5 margarita which also we didn't finish as the food was disappointing.
The best thing I can say about my experience was there was a generous portion of food. We didn't get a few things we ordered, and what we did get the ingredients weren't what they were supposed to be. To be honest, I've had much better tasting food, for a cheaper price out of a food truck.
Steak tasted funny I got a steak taco a chicken chimmy and a pork tamale the chicken wasnt shredded but chopped the orange cheese sauce on top was different then then the usual white cheese sauce ive had other places nice amount of salsa to go with chips tho.
This place was an amazing experience. I loved our waitress. She was a joy to have to come and serve us. she was very polite and kept checking up on us which is always a positive. the food was wonderful and cooked to perfection and their margaritas are really good!! definitely would like to come again.
