We tried 12 unique donuts. The plain glazed donuts are phenomenal everything else, not so much. Everything was super sweet like eating mouthfuls of straight sugar. The pastry cream was meh. The chocolate ganache tasted like super cheap chocolate. The texture was great, but the actual taste wasn't. I like Homecut better, unless you're just getting the plain glazed, I'd go to Homecut.
This place is less than 20 min away from me and that is a PROBLEM because they are by far the best glazed donuts both me and my husband have ever had! The red velvet wasn't my favorite as it was too "cakey" for me, but that's just a red velvet donut thing (shrug). The chocolate icing is also exquisite. Can't wait to go back and get some more next week!
Let me say this off the bat. Amazingly ? Friendly ? Staff. Like I was on the run to make a meeting and lord behold I forgot the donuts. So I called in and ordered and when I walked in lord the staff is just friendly as heck.The nice lady at the register and the one helping her out both told me "These donuts are better than Dunkin", and let me tell you, as someone who grew up on Donuts from highways and Dunkin Donuts at 2 AM, I accepted this challenge. Lord they were not kidding, I had one that believe was Red Velvet and it was just delicious. Couple of my Co-workers even asked for the address so, hopefully they get to try to place for themselves.But overall, when I'm in the mood for a donut and in the neighborhood, you can beat your bottom dollar that I'm gonna go to this shop and get some donuts.
We drove by the other day and it was closed. Went in at 9am next day and it was pack. OMG! The donuts are big and they have that homemade taste to it. My kids love it. We got the apple fritters, boston creme and strawberry with glaze on bottom. So fkn delicious. The best we have ever tasted! We are happy. Going back for more?☺️?????
The donuts are delicious but today the lady behind the counter was rude,disrespectful and really mean. It was a really bad experience today 05/10/2022 8:50am.
LOVE their donuts. Also enjoy their latte. I was disappointed last time I went there because I wanted a Bear Claw and they said they were unable to make them due to equipment failure.. In addition I wanted a latte and they said their machine also was broken. This is the first time they didn't have what I was looking for. Selection was pretty bare when I got there around lunch time even though they are open until 4:00 there was not much left. This is my favorite place to go for donuts.
I had to find a donut place for work found this little gem in Shorewood. I called on a Friday and was able to pre-order two dozen donuts of a variety of kind for pick up on a Monday morning and I was able to pay for it over the phone, which helps with the morning rush to get to work on time. Donuts are absolutely delicious and it's now my go-to for a donut. When I went inside it looks like they serve pies and cookies and all kinds of donuts every flavor every shape every kind I would like to try many different options when I go there next.
Donut Den consistently delivers a satisfying donut eating experience. All of their items are made fresh and tasty. My favorite is the New York cheesecake filled donut…the donut itself is pillowy soft, the cheesecake filling is creamy and velvety, this donut literally melts in your mouth. It is quite literally the best donut I’ve ever eaten! Overall, Donut Den is one of the best donut spots in Joliet by far and I will continue to be a loyal costumer.
My favorite place for donuts! Today for Valentine's day, they had a large strawberry heart coffee cake. Definitely a great idea instead of flowers, every year. And you can share! We all loved it!
